Bizarre. A few comments on here yesterday suggesting that Meghan Markle was “crazy” or “delusional”. I’m more worried about Piers Morgan.

I think the problem is that Piers has dug himself into a hole. When he was first teamed up with Susanna people found him quite entertaining. The viewing figures increased and Piers started to feel that he was invincible.. In order to stay relevant, he became more hardcore and his ‘telling it like it is’ descended into bullying . It was all about the ratings and a pay cheque At the beginning of the pandemic, I was quite happy that we had someone holding the Tory Government to account. However , after a while I found his shouting and hollering off putting. I was beginning to feel sorry for Tory government ministers ( something I would never had thought was possible) which was why Government ministers refused to come onto the programme. In fact, I found that his reluctance to allow these politicians to speak proved to be a disservice to the British public, because we didn’t learn anything . This issue with Meghan Markle came about because she supposedly ghosted him and he took it personally because he is used to people pandering to him in order that he doesn’t trash them on GMB or in the Daily Mail. Also , trashing Meghan is clickbait and ensures that he gets a big fat pay cheque. When the public start turning against him for whatever reason ( eg his visit to St Tropez and Antigua during a pandemic)) he simply writes another nasty article about Meghan and gets all the rabid racist back on side. Someone described Piers as a second rate actor playing at being a populist which I think is a great description. Piers is a thin skinned con man. I am not convinced that he is a rabid racist. However, I truly believe that he is a misogynist who had issues with a biracial American supposedly cutting him off. He needs serious therapy

It's all so Jeremy Kyle IMO. Signposting people who want soap like drama to ITV and people who want actual news away from it.

I would never choose ITV for news coverage.

I also don’t think this was staged.

PM comes out of this looking a prize chump. That’s not likely to increase viewing figures, and I doubt his fragile little ego could cope with that imo.

I really think he needs to go or not renew his contract, as a pp said he is an embarrassment to himself and the people who pay him as a pp said.

Piers knows this will generate column inches and is the only reason he did it. Here we are talking about him.

ITV will sit back and collect the ad revenue from his show. A company that has a mental health campaign but allows Piers to hound Meghan to the point of suicide. A company Caroline Flack worked for, who put messages of tribute up after she took her own life due to trolling on social media.

Here is Piers saying he thinks Meghan is lying that she felt suicidal. This is an unacceptable thing for him to say and dangerous for other contemplating suicide who might want to tell someone how they feel. Here's a link to the clip and a link to complain to Ofcom: its just a really short form.

I view ITV in the same way that I view the Daily Mail. Reprehensible low-down hate-spewing gutter media at it's finest and for that reason I do not watch it - neither do I ever read the Mail. I wouldn't use it to wipe up shite.
Piers Morgan is a disgrace to humanity and should be dispensed with immediately and if ITV won't do that perhaps it's time to go after the advertisers who prop up GMB and it's disgusting agenda.

He always seems to portray the embodiment of Cluster B personality disorder. Opinionated, huge ego, thin skinned, revenge driven probably with self esteem issues. His reaction to being confronted and shamed like that just reinforces that view. But the media love people like that.
