I can't begin to imagine how hard things have been for her and her family. Our daughters are the same age, and I often think about her. Remembering what she is going through reminds me to count my blessings, especially during lock down.

I hope she's home soon.

I'm also willing, wishing, hoping, holding my breath. Its such a sad and unfair trauma she and the family are going through. I just hope for good news tomorrow.

peak2021 · 06/03/2021 17:11

I too hope for good news.

I hope people don't forget Mr Johnson's lack of attention to detail when Foreign Secretary and the impact it had on her case.

KarenMarlow3 · 06/03/2021 17:11

Same here. I really hope she can come home.

Prestissimo · 06/03/2021 17:12

I saw that story and have been thinking about her a lot today. Really hoping the family get good news tomorrow, although I can completely understand why they hardly dare hope it themselves. Such a dreadful five years. My heart breaks for them all.

Arcadia · 06/03/2021 17:14

I agree, this situation gets me right in the gut. I imagine that being me and my DD and partner. Heartbreaking. Let's hope.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 06/03/2021 17:14

If only this poor lady got the same publicity fight and attention as Shamima Begum, I'm sure she'd soon be home.

Rae36 · 06/03/2021 17:18

I have followed her story for a long time. I hope she is released.

Her family were advised to keep a low profile in recent weeks in the hope that she'll be quietly released at the end of her sentence without Iran appearing to have to give in in public. I hope that strategy works

mummywithtwokidsplusdog · 06/03/2021 17:21

I’ve followed her ‘story’ for a few years now and am desperately hoping she is freed soon... cannot begin to imagine what she, and her family, are going through.

LizzieSiddal · 06/03/2021 17:24

I feel so dreadfully sorry for this poor women.

luckylavender · 06/03/2021 17:25

@Awwlookatmybabyspider - it's a terrible story but she's had much more publicity than Shamima Begum. That's a very cheap shot. I hope for everyone's sake that the best outcome happens. And that Johnson doesn't manage to mess it up again.

Piccalino3 · 06/03/2021 17:44

I've been thinking of her and I'm keeping everything crossed that she is able to come home very soon and start to heal and rebuild her life.

Clawdy · 06/03/2021 17:49

Fingers crossed - she must come home.

Zerrin13 · 06/03/2021 17:54

This poor lady and her family have suffered enough

PiggyPlumPie · 06/03/2021 17:57

Really really hoping this poor woman gets home soon.

Rae36 · 06/03/2021 18:09

I can't even imagine how stressed she and her family must be today. I hope these last few hours pass quickly and they hear the good news they deserve tomorrow.

HappydaysArehere · 06/03/2021 18:18

Just hope all goes well and the Iranians do the right thing at long last. She has been used for political means and as for daft Boris. Well, words fail me.

TeenTitan007 · 06/03/2021 18:18

Hoping for good news soon. The family have really stuck together for the last 5 miserable years. 🤞🏻

Needallthesleep · 06/03/2021 18:44

I’ve been following her story closely, and it does make you realise how lucky you are. I can’t imagine how awful it all must be for her. Praying that she is released tomorrow, but sadly I can’t see it happening.

bubblebubblebubbletrouble · 06/03/2021 18:46

Fingers crossed she'll be home imminently.

tiredybear · 06/03/2021 18:48

same here. Have been following her story and am really hoping tomorrow this awful situation finally comes to an end. Similar aged child to her and could not imagine the pain of having been separated for so long. Keeping everything crossed for tomorrow.

SidLowe · 06/03/2021 19:22

Fingers crossed for her.

megletsecond · 06/03/2021 19:23

Oh I really hope she's released. It's horrendous.

UhtredRagnarson · 06/03/2021 19:32

Thanks for posting this OP I knew the end of her sentence was close but didn’t realise it was tomorrow. I’m crossing everything she is released and can come home ASAP. It’s absolutely appalling what they have been through.

Piccalino3 · 07/03/2021 12:28

I just saw an alert from the BBC to say that Nazanin is being released but will be facing further charges. If that's the case I feel devastated for her and her family. Can't find it on the BBC news site now.
