What laptop do you have and do you rate it?

As per title really

Looking at buying a laptop and totally overwhelmed with the choice

I THINK I want/need

8gb ram
256gb ssd
A good quality screen and camera
Decent battery life
Comfortable illuminated keyboard with numeric keypad (this never seems to be described!)

Am I wishful thinking?

I have a Macbook Air. I've only used Macbooks for the last 10 years and the performance is superb. If this one ever goes down, I'll replace it without hesitation. I think I paid around £1k for it but worth every penny

i use a lenova thinkpad for work and it doesnt have a numeric pad, but i have bought a little numeric keypad that uses blue tooth, which does the trick

Dell I think are pricey for what you get, and I agree the reviews aren't especially good

@bruffin where did you get the number pad? That sounds a good solution too

It was a cheap one from amazon, but there are lots of different ones available

I have a MacBook and I’d not use anything else. Everything else I’ve tried is just so inferior
