I made my 2021 debut today, a few weeks earlier than usual. A fair bit of sunshine and a stiff westerly breeze did the job. More to do tomorrow!

Many times. If our decking is dry, it goes out whatever the month.

Orangedaisy · 25/02/2021 16:59

Yes on Saturday 2 loads dry including jeans. It was extremely windy.

MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 25/02/2021 17:02

I've put out a towel and 2 hoodies as a tester today. So fed up of trying to dry laundry in the house. My garden is quite shady so haven't tried before today.

FlibbertyGiblets · 25/02/2021 17:05

Yesterday. It smelled of OUTSIDE and FRESH AIR when it was brought in. Divine!

Bringonthemushrooms · 25/02/2021 17:05

Have a few loads out since the start of the year

TierFourTears · 25/02/2021 17:09

Yes, frequently.
If the ground is drying ir dry it goes out for a bit. Might not get completly dry, but makes it much quicker to get it cupboard dry on airers.

LadyDanburysHat · 25/02/2021 17:09

We did at the weekend. I'm in Scotland so it's not great still, but the wind was strong.

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 25/02/2021 17:13

I dried all our bedding on the line yesterday and it smells so lovely 😊 I did have to rescue it a couple of times though as the wind was a bit gusty and a couple of bits made a bid for freedom down the garden.

WildRosie · 25/02/2021 17:14

Can't beat line-dried laundry. Nature's way.

Yes, if it's dry and sunny/windy then we hang it out year round.

ItWasntMyFault · 25/02/2021 17:16

Yes, today for the first time this year. Wasn't completely dry though so still had to hang it up on the house to completely dry.

AllMyPrettyOnes · 25/02/2021 17:16

We did for the first time today!

BebesChamber · 25/02/2021 17:17

I did at the weekend, bloody marvellous.

Muskox · 25/02/2021 17:17

Yes, last Sunday for the first time this year!

LuckyLuckyWoman · 25/02/2021 17:18

Today, made my day to come home to it dry and smelling fab

pinkseal · 25/02/2021 17:20

We have a car-port and no tumble-dryer, so our washing goes out all year round!

DinosApple · 25/02/2021 17:21

Yes! Last weekend! Not today though, I've been at work and not organised enough to get it out on the mornings.

Tangledtresses · 25/02/2021 17:27

I put 4 tea towels out yesterday and it rained and they fell off so I had to wash them again

I need new pegs!

WhenDoISleep · 25/02/2021 17:27

Yes - on Tuesday and Wednesday. Made me happy.

Retrogal · 25/02/2021 19:18

If it's windy, it'll dry even in really cold weather

Sarjest · 25/02/2021 19:26

I’ve hung the washing out several times this year as I try to avoid using the tumble dryer. Two loads out today but the bathmat and towels needed to go in the airing cupboard. It’s lovely to get it out on the line.

Maryann1975 · 25/02/2021 19:30

I reckon it would have dried if I’d been organised enough to hang it out, but it was 2pm by the time I thought, so the best of the drying day had gone.

FionnulaTheCooler · 25/02/2021 19:30

Changed DD's bed yesterday in anticipation of a fine drying day today. It wasn't fully dry but mostly there so hopefully the waterproof mattress protector will dry overnight on the airer instead of taking 3 days like it would if it hadn't gone out.

petalpower · 25/02/2021 19:35

Yes - have tried a few times and then finished off on the airer but yesterday I got two loads dry on the line including jeans and towels. Lovely!
