Best dog names you've ever come across

What are the most memorable, unique, or lovely dog names you've come across that you will never forget?

I met a dog called Beetlejuice today, thought it was brilliant! I also used to know a dog called midnight, never met another one but always loved the name.

Years ago a friend of my sister walked two little (think they were sausage )dogs, Can't remember both names , but one was called Parsifal.

I once met a black miniature poodle called Pepsi.

A friend has a Hatshepsut, Hattie for short.

My dads neighbour has a jack russell called JR.

Years ago a friend had an extremely bouncy, energetic lurcher called Castrol, as in Castrol GTX. Perfect!

Our Boxer’s mother was called Chaos ( passed this trait onto her daughter)
Friends have Colin and Trevor
As a child my dog was friends with a dog called Pieshop ( because when he was a puppy every time he chewed something he was fairly affectionately told he would be sold to the Pie shop, original name abandoned and Pieshop stuck)

I have a patient who is a West Highland White Terrier and his name is Kanye.

In 15 years of being a vet I think it's my all-time favourite.

That’s possibly even better than a cocker called Jarvis.

I've known a few Cockers called Jarvis and Joe, and Springers called Jerry

I find some food related names quite cute, I wouldn't use them myself but I've had/have patients called Noodles (the Poodle!), Butters, Bacon, Beans, Peanut, Macaroni, Kimchi and Sprout.

Very human names are funny too, I've treated a few dogs called Dave, Nigel, Barbara, Doris, Roger, Brian etc. Even a Glenda (scruffy little Lurcher).

I know of a springer spaniel called Jerry. And a cocker called Jarvis.

Met a pug called Winston once.

My favourite is a friends dog called Dougie. Dougie the Doggie. Always makes me smile!

One of DS’s friends has a French bulldog named Baguette.

Aw- I bet that's purely so they can call "Come on, Eileen"!

Our sausage dog is called Roland, so Roland Sausage.. (roll and sausage)

I thought we were hilarious.. but we've since met a lot of Roland's, so it seems we're not as imaginative as we thought...!

Re: Muff. The offered explanation of a fluffy handwarmer seems plausible but I did wonder if she was possibly old enough to have been a fan of Muffin the Mule (aka Muff, iirc)?

I thought I remembered a children's book with dog characters called Muff and Gruff but entering that into a search engine was a mistake.

Kipling the Jack Russell. So named because he was ruddy hard (Rudyard).

A boxer called Shorts
A Gordon setter called Bennet
A spaniel called Daniel

She must have been in her nineties so she quite possibly had kids around the time of muffin embarassing admissions

Some friends of ours have a dog called Douglas.

I met a black lab called Calypso once.

I know someone had 2 dogs.. massey and fergie.. was fond of red brand tractors!

A neighbour of mine had a huge Great Dane called Columbus and another called Pluto
