That a four-pack of Cadbury's flakes hides beautifully in the slow cooker underneath the dish. Do with this information what you will!

Just don’t forget they are there and switch it on - that would be tragic!

Great minds, @mnahmnah!

Can this be like the magic porridge pot and they mysteriously replenish themselves?

NancyDrawed · 11/02/2021 13:19

Thank you!

Whatwouldscullydo · 11/02/2021 13:20

Well thats part one of the problem.solved.

Grin genius..thanks

Part 2 is how to prevent kids who don't hear repeated and high volume requests to pick up their clothes off the bathroom floor, suddenly developing bat like abilities when you quietly unwrap said flakes.

shinynewapple21 · 11/02/2021 13:23

I've found the salad drawer to be a perfect place for hiding chocolate Smile

AudTheDeepAndCrispAndEven · 11/02/2021 13:26

Mine include:
In the recycling bin
In the bottom of the bread crock
In the largest saucepan left on the stove with lid on
and finally, and most magnificent of all, in the drawer of reusable sanitary towels.

Twickerhun · 11/02/2021 13:26

That’s genius.

Twickerhun · 11/02/2021 13:27

Mine are behind the cleaning sprays and cloths.

Whatwouldscullydo · 11/02/2021 13:28

and finally, and most magnificent of all, in the drawer of reusable sanitary towels

I've been known to stash a few things there myself 🤣🤣

Sue81 · 11/02/2021 13:28

Excellent tip. I also hide chocolate in the cleaning cupboard since I am the only member of the household who ever looks in there Hmm

HandyBendySandy · 11/02/2021 13:29

I've discovered that my stapler, pen tray and an empty wireless mouse box can form a tidy hidden recess at the very back of my desk drawer for creme eggs.

AdoraBell · 11/02/2021 13:30

Thank you 🙏

bellagogosdead · 11/02/2021 13:30

I have hidden a four pack of fudges, half a bottle of single malt and two cans of blackberry cider in my bedroom. If anyone knows where, there is cash reward.Wink

FlibbertyGiblets · 11/02/2021 13:32

One of my friends uses an empty Bertie Bassets tin cos no child in her house likes liquorice.

PeterPandemic · 11/02/2021 13:36

I discovered this weekend, that if one were to hide two tubs of Celebrations in the cupboard behind the sofa before Christmas, one might then forget that one had put them there and that one wouldn't find them for another 6 months.

Usually I put treats in the clean washing. Not like anyone else goes through it. Or in the Tupperware pots.

Chemenger · 11/02/2021 13:46

I remember the moment when my then boyfriend’s mother revealed that she always kept biscuits in the freezer. He was astonished and confessed he had sometimes wondered why they were always cold but had never found out why. He was 25 at the time.

MrsMoastyToasty · 11/02/2021 13:49

The drawers of my divan bed aren't just for jumpers and bedding.......know what I'm saying ? Nod, nod, wink, wink.

ZackaryQuack · 11/02/2021 13:49

Under the kitchen sink inside the "spare" box of washing powder.
I do all the washing so noone thinks to look there.
Also the big mugs at the top of the mug cupboard works too.. because I'm too short to reach them, they get forgotten about haha.

Wendyhause · 11/02/2021 13:52

In days gone by when it was vital I hid my sweets and chocs I always found that in the feet of my upright boots in the coat cupboard was guaranteed to be 100% safe.

ErrolTheDragon · 11/02/2021 13:56

Pre-pandemic, the breadmaker bucket was a good place, but DH has developed the lockdown baking bug. Hmm
