Sick of snow, cold, mud and lockdown.

Snowing again......😭

Dh and l went for one of our exciting walks yesterday. ‘Feels like’ temperature of -9.

Everywhere all Autumn has been one huge mass of mud. Random new ponds appearing complete with ducks.

Ice, snow, slippy underfoot nearly all the time. AND lockdown😢.

Anyone else?

LadyCatStark · 08/02/2021 15:16

We haven’t even had any snow 😢 just mud, rain and cold...

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 08/02/2021 15:24

I wish we hadn’t had any snow. It’s snowed nearly all day today, yesterday, Saturday night and a week or so ago.

My garden for the 3rd or 4th time since Christmas.

Sick of snow, cold, mud and lockdown.

I hear ya!

ThomasHardyPerennial · 08/02/2021 15:33

Same here, this is the 4th snowfall (that has settled) since christmas, and I am so sick of it now. I live on a hill too, so you can imagine the slip-slid to get anywhere. The mud and flooring afterwards is just completely rubbish.

Sexnotgender · 08/02/2021 15:35

Definitely. And fucking rain. It can all fuck off.

DollyMixtureLulus · 08/02/2021 15:35

I'm just back from my walk. Everyone had the same totally pissed off look about them, grimly marching round the park and trying to convince themselves that it wasn't too bad.

WeAreJackieWeaver · 08/02/2021 15:36

It’s totally shit. Lord knows what I’m going to do with the kids next week when it’s half term and still Baltic.

SandysMam · 08/02/2021 15:36

Your garden looks so pretty though Arse!!

BogRollBOGOF · 08/02/2021 15:37

We've got just enough snow to be mildly hazardous, but not enough to have any fun.

Totally done with it. Last winter was even wetter, but it's the increased footfall that's mashed the ground up early on. It's completely put me off my usual trail runs. Some are frankly unpassable, normally it's a few ploughed fields I swerve, but most are ruined or just flooded now. Plus my lowland routes that I divert off to are just busy because there's fuck all else to do, and that's not very compatible with just running at my own pace, and being stuck at home with family constantly, I don't want to interact with any other humans when I'm in escape mode. Gosh, I've turned into a misanthrope!

Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored.

Same4Walls · 08/02/2021 15:38

Yes OH GOD YES. I'm utterly sick of it either raining or snowing. Literally the only thing I can do outside the house with the toddler is go for a walk and for the past 3 weeks all it's done is rain or snow. Sad I normally blooming love snow but I'm totally over it!

Tangledtresses · 08/02/2021 15:40

Bored of Tesco's
Bored of mud
Bored of walking
Bored of cooking
Bored if cleaning

Bored of being bored 😑

Topseyt · 08/02/2021 15:43

Same here. Totally fed up of it all now. Winter lockdown is shit.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 08/02/2021 15:45

‘Grimly marching around’

I mentioned to DH yesterday how pissed off all the other determined marchers were. They all looked beyond fed up. All indeed grimly marching round in the slush, snow, and -9 temperature.

I want to get on a normal plane in a normal airport and land in hot southern Spain in 3 hours. With family, and we all go out for a big meal and cuddle and kiss. Not much really😖

I want snow.

We haven't had any. Just rain. And more rain. And cold rain.

I'd love some snow just to break the monotony.

AfterSchoolWorry · 08/02/2021 15:47

Screaming into the void here tip too.

Crumbs on the floor, crumbs on the counter, I feel like all I do is sweep and wipe crumbs into the bin. Yet everywhere I walk crunch, crunch. Angry

springwinterautumn · 08/02/2021 15:50

Love the snow. Kids love the snow. Complete change up to the never ending Groundhog Day. Sledging is more fun that walking.

KarensChoppyBob · 08/02/2021 15:51

Bored with it all too. Bring on daffodils 🌼 and blossom on the trees ...

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 08/02/2021 15:52

My dd is 14. She will not sledge....

‘Crumbs on the floor, crumbs on the counter, I feel like all I do is sweep and wipe crumbs into the bin. Yet everywhere I walk crunch, crunch. angry’

Sounds like a song!!!

I want to be sitting in a tea room eating a nice panini then a cake with a bag full of second hand books and to be somewhere that’s not anywhere near where I am . I have a dog so have to walk everyday anyway but heartily sick of the sight of my local area .

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 08/02/2021 15:57

So we’re off for a grim walk in the snow, even though it feels like -7

Sick of snow, cold, mud and lockdown.

MissyB1 · 08/02/2021 15:58

I love my dog but I now hate walking her. Mud /freezing sleet/ rain I’m not just sick of it I’m totally fucking pissed off with it! It’s making me into a miserable old cow. Just back from my second frozen dog walk of the day, cleaned her paws for the umpteenth time today. Mopped the floor again.
Bring back the sunshine and warmth of the first lockdown please!!

Anycrispsleft · 08/02/2021 16:00

Bored out of my tree, and next week is the Fasnacht holidays here in Germany so the kids are off and they will be missing all the events that usually go on. I hate Fasnacht, the stupid traditions, the forced fun - but at least usually there are organised events they can go to so all I have to do is turn up and pay. This time the kids will be expecting some sort of thing in the house. Throwing confetti and being crazy. I can't be crazy on a timetable, I think you have to be drunk born into the tradition to really throw yourself into it.

Keratinsmooth · 08/02/2021 16:12

Throw some snow around, have some fun? Jump in puddles, get muddy? Cook nice good? I’m stuck inside with covid, can’t leave the toilet for long, I’d swap that for your walk, if I could

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 08/02/2021 16:18

Mud.....I can't deal with anymore bloody mud.

Everytime the dog goes out in the garden I have to clean his feet and legs because he is covered, will he stay on the gravel.....Will he bugger Angry

I was speaking with someone the other day I said no one out walking looks happy anymore, like it's now become another chore but they feel they must do it or they will go barmy looking at the same 4 walls.
