Need a handhold please

I woke up from a horrendous nightmare which was the most scary one I've ever had, I still can't calm down. I was looking for the night worries thread but can't find it

How awful op, would you like to talk about it?

I find looking at cheerful and funny things helps me - that and a cup of tea.

E.g.

I love the way they wait for the nervous one!

I'm awake too but my head won't switch off. I'm scrolling through tik tok of all things and I'm about to pop on the parenting lockdown podcast to distract my thoughts. Usually works. Hope you get back to sleep soon

That sounds awful. Hope you get some sleep.

Someone else has replied as well now on night worries :) It's really weird having strange dreams and coming around from it but brief.
