How’s your Thursday night going? I felt awful last night ( absolutely shattered & in loads of pain 😢) but much better now as I think I’ve finally cracked the right combination of medication. Also I was in bed really early for me.
Had a good shift at work then popped to Aldi for a few bits. Ended up spending nearly £40! I bought 8 cans of Baxter’s Sri Lankan sweet potato soup as it’s absolutely delicious. Pizzas for tea later when DH has had his post cycle shower & I have put the bunnies to bed. DD ate earlier & is giggling away on her phone in her room. Hoping to watch another episode or two of Married At First Sight Australia - so addictive!

Strangely enough I saw an advert today for the soup and thought it sounded really nice.

Baxters are moving on from Scottish broth, aren't they

Just been a bit of out of sorts and tired today, planning to have fish pie and vegetables soon.

The DCs are upstairs chatting to their mates and I'm downstairs doing this.

DH is painting Warhammer models (well, it keeps him out of trouble)
DD1 is having a bath involving bubbles and her radio (not actually in the bath)
DD2 is watching something on TV with DH
I'm washing up

Having some wine snd a pork souvlaki for tea.

Might start the game of thrones books. Might stay arsing about on here.

Dh is in the living room playing rocket league on the pc with a couple of friends (he's shouting so he's losing)
I'm in with ds at the moment, he's fast asleep but I'm enjoying sleepy cuddles before I go downstairs and make a cuppa.

We're watching season 2 of Ashes to Ashes. DS has on on the TV and one eye on an essay. DH is drinking whiskey as a foolproof remedy for toothache and I'm trying not to fall asleep.

MAFS on the tv, drinking a glass or 3 , REALLY relieved it's Friday tomorrow and looking forward to my bed.

DD12 is sat on the opposite sofa watching some anime show on Netflix. She keeps trying to explain parts to me. I am nodding & smiling but really I couldn't be less interested. Its a very complicated show!

DD13 is locked away in his room playing FarCry5, which his uncle has let him borrow. He is also popping down to inform of his progress every so often. Again, nods & smiles but I do not care

Dog is on the sofa reeking of wet dog, thanks to a very soggy walk after work.

I'm contemplating what I can eat as a snack. I think yoghurt is winning the race.

Anyone?

DS7 has just gone to sleep. I'm going to watch something on TV. Glad it's Friday tomorrow.

I'm cleaning the kitchen and have just sorted out seasoning in lentil soup that's in the slow cooker, it was bland.
I'm going to find something to watch on TV in a minute.

@ZackaryQuack My DH has just turned down a game of Rocket League with his friends tonight as he says he's too tired! I almost fell over in shock.

DC are all asleep, DH is in the shower, I'm about to put a bit of TV on to watch in bed. We had fish and chips for tea, the house is quiet and peaceful, and I'm looking forward to an early night.

DS1 is just falling asleep. DS2 is in bed listening to recorded stories in the dark. DP is playing a war game on the PC in his office. I'm just about to finish making dinner then we'll watch a movie until bedtime.

If we're doing pleasant mundanities: Tesco delivery which is an entire day late turned up 5 minutes into my relaxing bath 😅
Im now debating whether a little hot water top up will bring it back up to temp, or just scrap the idea.

I've just finished fabreezing the bedroom after crawling down from the loft with the biggest stinkiest dead rat that has been stinking the room out all day!

Me...I'm sat in the living room wondering if I should just call it a night and go to bed!

I feel shattered so going to go to bed once I’ve spoken to my Dm and listen to some music or a podcast

We all had a chicken dinner earlier when DH got home from work, I'm home ill feeling the side effects of Covid Vaccine.
DC's upstairs gaming I'm now in living room catching up on crappy soaps and DH in other room watching Narcos
I'll be in bed for 10 after a hot toddy

It's still Thursday afternoon here (eastern US). I just signed off work for the day. DH (retired) is napping with the dog. They just got home from their daily long walk. DH has been painting doors all day. They are all off their hinges and drying in various parts of the house. I'm catching up on the news and then plan to go for a walk. DH is cooking dinner tonight; we're having omelettes and salad.

I know it's so grim

DD is asleep after spending the whole day in lectures and work groups on descriptives statistics (she has severe dyscalculia so she is exhausted).
DS just started cooking his evening meal. DH is still working as usual and I did a bit of revision and I have written my to do list for tomorrow.

Dc are asleep. Im on the sofa with the rabbit watching Bridgerton.
