What’s Happening In Your House?

How’s your Thursday night going? I felt awful last night ( absolutely shattered & in loads of pain 😢) but much better now as I think I’ve finally cracked the right combination of medication. Also I was in bed really early for me.
Had a good shift at work then popped to Aldi for a few bits. Ended up spending nearly £40! I bought 8 cans of Baxter’s Sri Lankan sweet potato soup as it’s absolutely delicious. Pizzas for tea later when DH has had his post cycle shower & I have put the bunnies to bed. DD ate earlier & is giggling away on her phone in her room. Hoping to watch another episode or two of Married At First Sight Australia - so addictive!

DS1 still at school for another hour. DS2 on virtual school in the dining room. DD2 on the couch next to me. Me trying to not fall asleep.

Baxter’s is lush, but I’m too tight to buy it often.

DH is getting ready to go to work. I’m messaging a colleague who is at the same pay grade as me but his head of dept seems to do all the paperwork. He has no idea what I’m talking about. How come I get to do all the analysis and he doesn’t?!

DS(17) is gaming. DD(20) and I are watching TV and chatting, while I'm crocheting as well. And I have MN on my laptop too.

Online shopping from the sofa. Birthday present for my niece (unicorn books and a gemstone kit), a couple of books for my baby due in May (100 Dogs and That's Not My Puppy), and a new Kindle for me as I trod on mine yesterday and shattered the screen after more than 10 years of faithful service 😔

I'm just about to wash up before bed, DD is in bed with the dog after a big telling off from me today and all devices taken off her for 3 days. I could do with a drink but am carrying dry January over a bit

DDs are sleeping in the same room together these days, just for fun. They both unexpectedly got in bed with me for hugs and we giggled and giggled about silly things, then we all agreed that it was the best part of our day.

Me and DH have done the ongoing Jigsaw, had a takeaway from the local pub and watched Death in Paradise. It sounds pretty dull but it's actually been really nice.
