How did it go? What did they say to you? How did you feel about it? I would totally cringe myself to death I think, with the embarrassment of it!

@Polyxena

Yes, Robert Newman once sang a little song to me in the Jarvis character. I was very near the front on the end of a row and somehow he just spotted me. It was pretty funny.

No but I got a' Congratulations' card when ds was born!! Had to cancel show tickets due to prem baby arrival!! Comic was told and sent a lovely card to our address. Something sarcastic in about having a baby not being a good reason to miss his show!
How lovely is that!

Very close call with Frank Skinner. My friend and I were sat on the front row and he skimmed us all with a look, paused, and we actually froze in fear. I swear he smiled, then moved on to the man next to us, who had one leg out straight in a sort of semi-manspread. That gave him enough material to leave us alone Grin

Jack Dee took apart someone in our Halls at Uni. He was a right Billy BigBollocks and show off, wore a leather jacket. Jack Dee kept asking him what sort of motorbike he had, sneeringly incredulous that he didn’t have one. Or a car. Or even a push bike. We all really enjoyed that one Grin

Took it in the spirit it was meant and Alan said I think your mum is weird,lovely but weird! It was so nice of him to consider doing the shout out and they and the audience had a lovely chat! We can't wait for when we can go to comedy gigs again. DS is old enough now so he can come along. Thinking of booking Alan Carr as DS is a massive fan.

Yes as a teenager at a Jongleurs. He asked my friend where she was from (she's originally from a bad bad area of the city) and decided to call us the 'council house' table from then on.

Went on about it and told all the men there not to try it on with us because we'd either batter them, rob them or charge them.

We were all 18 and while we laughed it off found it in poor taste.
