Another night of no sleep. Anyone else??

And so another night of no sleep again.

Thought I'd pop up here and see if anyone else is awake Aswell?

Lockdown last time gave me insomnia alongside the usual back of the mind worries but this time it seems worse.
Mind you the worries are worse this time round.

Yep been trying for 3 hours still no sleep!

ThePerfectPintOfIceColdBeer · 29/01/2021 02:29

Yes me too, I'm totally wide awake. I'm absolutely exhausted but for some bizarre reason it gets to night time and as soon as I get ready for bed I'm suddenly really awake and my mind won't stop lol

Hailtomyteeth · 29/01/2021 02:29

Not sleeping. Old woman. We are often awake in the night.

Me! No sleep all week for me. My husband left me on Sunday, too much running round in my head.
(Also pregnant)

ZaraCarmichaelshighheels · 29/01/2021 02:42

It’s a permanent state of affairs for me, when I do eventually fall asleep within ten minutes I wake again and then I can’t get back to sleep, it’s so draining, I long for a normal nights sleep. I’m completely wide awake at nearly three in the morning, it’s ridiculous.

whatisthislifesofullofcare · 29/01/2021 02:44

same

Exactly the same^

Whatsnewpussyhat · 29/01/2021 02:46

Me. Always. My brain just won't ever shut the fuck up.

clairethewitch70 · 29/01/2021 02:48

Full moon tonight. Can never sleep on full moon

Star8181 · 29/01/2021 02:56

I’m in the wide awake club too. Normally manage to fall asleep fine and get a few hours but I’m wide awake now and that’ll be me done for the night.

YanTanTethera123 · 29/01/2021 03:01

Another broken night’s sleep here 😡
I fall asleep but awake at 2.14 every bloody night, then that’s it. Sometimes I nod off about 5.30.
Gosh FallingStar that’s really s@£t, no wonder you can’t sleep.

Oh the joys of getting older, does it mean less sleep? I don’t catnap during the day either, so permanently sleep-deprived!

surlycurly · 29/01/2021 03:04

Another one here that can't stay asleep. I'm awake every night at this time for you to 3 hrs. I'm also utterly misanthropic as a result. I can't remember myself refreshed!

Hi all

Just to say that this board is for alerting the Night Watch to spam, dodgy threads etc.

So I'll ask MNHQ to move it to chat later Smile

But carry on chatting for now!

wtfisgoingonhere21 · 29/01/2021 03:46

Sorry if I've put this in the wrong place.

Must be the insomnia and my ageing eyesight Wink

So still wide awake.
Discovered I've ran out of coffee (decaf),tea bags (also decaf) and found an old jar of Jaffa cake flavour coffee so that will do but it's quite gross 🤢

I'm so so sick of being awake awake awake.

To the poster that wrote their brain won't shut the fuck up that's exactly how I feel.

I even find myself telling myself to just go to fucking sleep 😴

Hello, another worried, anxious insomniac made worse by lockdown. This week is particularly bad.

wtfisgoingonhere21 · 29/01/2021 03:53

@BikeRunSki
I've been really bad this week

Anxiety seems to be running at a constant high level and everything seems to be carrying an odd undertone.

I can't really describe it but it's very odd.

This lockdowns hit me a lot harder this time. I think the weather being crap and it being January probably.
