I love these threads - they cheer me up. Hope everyone’s having a good Thursday. I had to report an incident of bullying at work ( not the first time but the first time reporting it) which has left me more upset than I anticipated. Needless to say, I was very glad to get home this afternoon. Now not working until Saturday. DD12 is pushing the boundaries. At least 3 times today she’s walked off when I’m talking to her & her general attitude is not good. Making allowances for lockdown but she needs to know that it’s not acceptable. Apparently she had a really good day until I got home!
DH is cooking tonight ( sausage pasta) & I may be having a cheeky glass or 3 of Pinot Grigio 🥂Wishing I hadn’t volunteered to put the rabbits to bed 2 nights running as it’s very wet out there. Hopefully it will stop by the time I do it! Looking forward to catching up with “ Married At First Sight Australia “ which I am hooked on. Also started watching “ The Pembrokeshire Murders”, which looks quite good.

I’m finishing a painting off I started months ago.
DP is watching football on TV, DD is doing her online homework and DS is having a nap. The (tiny) dog who believes he is really a German Shepherd is sitting in the dark conservatory trying to spot the neighbour’s cat in the garden so he can attempt to frighten it away (the cat isn’t scared at all).

I'm watching In the Night Garden with DS before he goes to bed. DH has been forced to take part in some team workout via zoom. Today is my day off but have had to try and catch up on some work and do a few calls as DS has been ill all week so I've got quite behind. Need to do some more work in a bit and then will make a stir fry for dinner and watch a bit of TV.

I have just sat down on the couch to watch a bit of tv with ds. He came beside me and has cuddled into me.

Its been a crazy day here - wfh/homeschool 7yo with sen/looking after 1yo aswell. I've made a few mistakes at work this week, one noticed by a senior client today . I dont know how much longer I can try to juggle everything.

I was going to sign up for Joe Wicks 90 day plan this evening but am now eating leftover sweets from christmas so it will probably be left to another day.

DH is working away upstairs. I’ve fed the kids and we’ll eat later. The two younger DC are fighting over one iPad. They have one each but this one has battery left. Hmm. If only they had chargers and knew the benefit of using the damn things. Eldest is in her room, - I hear music and talking, so I assume all is fine.
Regretting “dry January” but I’ve done well up to now, shame to fail so close to the end eyes up fridge

I'm contemplating hoovering upstairs

I am cooking. Dh is sitting down in the living room with a cup of tea having driven about 250 miles today. Ds is with his girlfriend.

I'm sat in the living room with prosecco and my Stephen King book. My dcs are in the other room with the TV on Netflix and on their tablets, eating fish finger, chips and marrowfat peas... roll on bed time 🙈

DD8 is on a zoom brownies call.

As dire as ever because of the one girl who's parents are nowhere nearby so she unmutes herself repeatedly and dominates the whole meeting.

DD enjoys it though. She's cutting and sticking so she's happy.

Dd is doing work for her textiles gcse, I’m cooking dinner & DH is wandering around looking bored!

Dd in bed, after a lonnnng day! Im having a baileys and learning how to crochet! Wish me luck!

I'm on the sofa eating a chocolate eclair. Dd has arrived at my side asking if I want help to eat it🤣🤣
Believe me, I can manage all by myself.
DH is in the kitchen emptying the dishwasher.

DD finished online school, went for a run with a friend and is now cooking dinner (she offered - it’s chicken casserole and mash)

I’m feeling thoroughly lazy and am lying on the sofa MNetting (obvs) and catching up with other online stuff. I’ll ring DMum later

DDog was dozing next to me, but has just jumped off to inspect what’s happening in the kitchen

Just sitting watching tv after my mothers funeral. There were 7 of us and no wake. It was very sad. RIP darling mum.

I'm drinking a glass of wine and about to do an online Tesco shop. Dd in her room,one ds in bath the other on FaceTime and dh on computer sorting emails. What are you reading LST?

Had a bread maker panettone fail - didn’t hear the damn bleep to add the extra butter and the dried fruit. I guess that’ll be weird sort-of brioche and a bread pudding, then?

And in other news: had pizza for dinner and am about to ring a friend for a chat and have a bath later. Such an exciting life!

I'm having ten mins on social media/mumsnet whilst OH tells the bedtime story. I love the sound in the background ❤️

Also weighing up Movie Night option or whether we should watch It's A Sin...

I'm sat upstairs doing some work (well I'm meant to be but I'm on MN) whilst DH is being a total dickhead and drinking whisky in the lounge. He's not speaking to me because I wasn't sympathetic enough about his bad foot.

@joynoelle its under the dome. Really enjoying it. The kids are in bed now so I'm on the comfy sofa still drinking prosecco with king and mn. Waiting for dp to finish work.

Both babies are sleeping, DD is watching a film in bed. DH is watching the football so I will be on my phone until it's finished.
