In fact she thinks IVF is "something every woman should do" because then you get to choose the sex of your baby (or babies if you fancy multiples).

Jesus wept. Are her doctors too afraid to mention to her that while they can put two embryos in, they mightn't both implant? If she only gets pregnant with one, will she return it because it's not what she ordered?

She said this on a podcast "The Trend Reporter". It's about 7 minutes in if, like me, you read the news article but didn't believe it, and want to listen to it yourself.

It's like when people with infertility problems have to smile and nod when someone says "just do IVF" as if it's a magic pill but she says she's had the egg collection so why hasn't somebody explained this to her!

Yes, she is doing gender selection but there is no way that a doctor can guarantee that two embryos will implant. She could transfer two and end up with none, one, two or even 4 or more babies if the embryos split.

Someone due at the same time as me had two embryos put back and is having triplets, she may get more or less then she bargained for because none of this is a sure thing!

She might be having ongoing fertility trouble and just wants (misguidedly) to put a glossy, proactive spin on it.

Shes doing the same as what all the wealthy Hollywood types do, jLo, the Clooneys, Mariah, Neil Patrick Harris etc boy/girl twins designed especially for them. Its outrageous the way they carry on. Rebel Wilson at least admitted to freezing her eggs.

I have boy/girl twins. Never had anyone ask me if they were IVF, as they are my 4th and 5th babies!

I find what Paris is doing to be dumb, the result of being a spoilt brat. Reasonably distasteful to those with fertility issues, and those of us with naturally occurring twins.

Yes. Most people I know in the US who have had ivf choose the sex of the embryo before implantation.

Only in the UK, it’s more strictly regulated here than anywhere else in the world.

Anyone remember the German woman who already had 13 children, having quads? Because her youngest daughter wanted a younger sibling. She refused selective abortion. She was treated in the Ukraine.

Paris Hilton isn’t as stupid as she makes out. She’s said herself her public personality is an act so I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s said this for headlines.
