I recently found out the name of something which was discontinued years ago and I still mourn.

Terrys Moments - Hexagonal chocolate with a caramel filling inside

Orange Chewits I swear are gone too.

Anything else missed?

Wonkas chocolate fudge bars
This one isn’t food, but loved Avon’s oriental musk bubble bath from 80s

TomorrowIsAnotherDae · 26/01/2021 21:14

@dillydallydollydaydream7, you can still get Frisps! Usually in one of the Poundland type shops that have food isles.

Loopzy · 26/01/2021 21:24

Bitza Pizza crisps

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 26/01/2021 21:24

@EmmanuelleMakro

Potato puffs (yes I am old) Aztec bars (ditto) Aqua Libra (best ever non-alcoholic non-sweet drink)
Be warned - the company that bought the name have released revolting things with the same packaging and name. Don't be fooled.
NeverDropYourMoonCup · 26/01/2021 21:25

Sorry - I meant Aqua Libra.

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 26/01/2021 21:28

@titchy

Oh yes to BK mushroom double Swiss!

Also Vesta noodles, the ones you put in a pan of hot fat and they puffed up.
Mmmmm!

If you get dried rice noodles (or any type of flat noodle sold dry) and chuck them into hot oil, you get Vesta Crispy noodles.
Naughtypenguin · 26/01/2021 21:30

Mint wispas

BIWI · 26/01/2021 21:58

@Nouveau2021

Rowntrees made Secret, not Cadbury!

TimeQuest01 · 26/01/2021 22:02

Smirnoff Moscow mule.

I know I can make my own, but prefer to just be able to open a bottle...

LaMarschallin · 26/01/2021 22:09

Thornton's Winter Frost: a thin slab of mint flavoured white chocolate with green mint crisp through it; used to be sold broken up into bite-sized pieces.
Sigh...

LandGirlJudy · 26/01/2021 22:09

Mine would be those tinned sponge puddings Heinz used to make, specifically the treacle one or Cadbury chocolate one, they were our Saturday night treat each week!

They still sell.these, in fact I was looking at them just last week! I think it was Morrisons but could have been Home Bargains

LandGirlJudy · 26/01/2021 22:09

Pyramint

Justonedayatatime11 · 26/01/2021 22:52

This is a bad thread. I've just found a website that sells Cadbury marble and ordered 5 large bars Blush

IcelandicMoss · 26/01/2021 23:17

Walkers Marmite crisps when they were in the yellow packet, the ones you get now are foul, far too strong.

M&S Whisp yogurts

Caramac in the old days before it turned into a horrible greasy oversweet nugget of crap

Dairy Milk in the old days before they ruined it

Those early 90s cans of fruity sweet Seltzer where the can was clear plastic - pink grapefruit or mandarin was my favourite

Trio in the old days

Basically so much stuff used to be so much nicer before cheap palm oil and crappy cost cutting and "making junk food healthier".

TheVanguardSix · 26/01/2021 23:21

Not food but Body Shop Tobacco Flower range. Life was so much nicer when that was around.

myyearnextyear · 26/01/2021 23:24

lovablequalities · 26/01/2021 23:36

Wasabi Pringles

BK Double Swiss and the veggie burger in KFC from 20 years ago. I don't live anywhere near fast food restaurants anymore so I don't know if they do that veggie burger but I think not.

Whaaaat?! I'm going to be on the lookout as soon as I can, used to love them so thank you!

NoProblem123 · 27/01/2021 01:22

Great to see some of favourites on here !

Bitsa Pizza crisps were just the best
Toast Toppers mushroom & ham
Football crisps
BBQ wot sits
Crisps shaped like piglets (were they called piglets ??!)
Highland toffee in a silver foil that you couldn’t get the last bit out of

More recently Sainsburys leek & Glamorgan cheese veggie sausages.
And Asda used to do veggie ready meals including sausage & mash, chilli & rice, and veggie enchiladas but I haven’t seen them in ages.

MatildaStoker · 27/01/2021 07:16

Crisps shaped like piglets (were they called piglets ??!)

Ooh now these sound familiar. Shaped like little hollow pigs or similar?

The veggie (bean/beanfeast?) burger that BK did years ago (90s?) was yummy. In fact, even though I wasn't veggie me and friends would often have that instead of a normal meaty burger. Why did they discontinue it?!
