I think I'm a Thread killer

I've just been through my "Watched" list of threads. So many have died after I commented! In my mind, it's like that awkward pause after you say the wrong thing at a party and everyone drifts away to talk to someone else...

I'm joking, don't take it personally, people move onto other threads quickly, it's just one of those things.

@userxx Oh definitely meant to be light hearted! I am a little starved for adult (not related/married to me) conversation!

Although my gift is capricious - I don't seem to be able to silence those who most need silencing or tell those who need telling so I'll just keep trying.

You could try posting on all the “should kids be in school” threads - I’d consider that a service to the community 😂

You can DEFINITELY use your superpower for good op and others! Don't see it as killing the thread so much as dropping the mic / getting the last word .

I tend to leave/hide a thread once the sensible option/answer has been given . After that they all just descend in to madness. Same answer repeated over and over, petty arguments etc. You need to get into some of them and sort them out, op! It's madness on mn at the moment...

This happens to me. Sometimes it’s just that the thread had run it’s course and my comment was not sufficiently interesting to get it going again!

This is me too 😂 a fellow thread killer. Right now I have 4 threads where my comment is sitting at the bottom with no further engagement. I think I may of killed your thread too, let's wait and see...
