Gorgeous house, love the statues. Particularly the candle sticks in the dining room and the crocodile in the garden...

Really don't understand the mumsnet thing of being snarky towards other peoples living choices and styles.

savvy7 · 18/01/2021 19:58

It's a really nice house and great to see something other than bland for a change

Newnamemyname · 18/01/2021 20:01

There's nothing snarky about Rolles post at all.

And there are many users on Mumsnet who love a bit of property porn.
If the post isn't of interest to you or you have nothing to contribute then why bother posting?

Personally I think it's a beautiful house. Very eclectic and whilst not to my taste, together it all works really well and I'd be proud to call it my home.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 18/01/2021 20:01

I'm not sure OP is being snarky?

Amazing house! I want to know who lives there.

LochJessMonster · 18/01/2021 20:04

I love the garden and kitchen.

The giant owl head is an interesting feature though

PTW1234 · 18/01/2021 20:07

So it’s a barn conversion and 3 holiday cottage lets.

I can’t afford to buy it, but would love to stay in one of the cottages!!

Rolle · 18/01/2021 20:08

Didn't intend to come across snarky at all. Honestly think it looks amazing, really fun and over the top extravagant. I love it when people just go for it like this. Something I just dont have the creativity (and probably the money!) to do

Who’s being snarky, it’s a beautiful house, just a shame all the art would leave with the seller!

Twillow · 18/01/2021 20:10

I'd live there, minus all the giant animal sculptures - that owl is something...
What's with all the large objets - even the bathroom has a practically full-scale yacht ornament!

TheFaithfulBorderBinliner · 18/01/2021 20:10

I love that, Instagram keeps showing me more & more of the same thing, so bored with identikit '2020 tasteful'

Harmarsuperstar · 18/01/2021 20:18

Gorgeous! I'd love to go to a party there!

alecguinnessgenuineclass · 18/01/2021 20:19

That's gorgeous. It looks a very happy house!

fireplaceburning · 18/01/2021 20:36

This house looks like it should be on Through Keyhole!

endlesscraziness · 18/01/2021 20:38

I feel it must be Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen's house. Bloody gorgeous house though Shock

BikeRunSki · 18/01/2021 20:44

Apart from a few soft furnishings, I really like it.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 18/01/2021 20:44

Ooh I love a bit of maximalist! Wish I had the confidence and style to go this OTT. Not sure I could imagine sitting on the purple sofa with the owl staring at me though!

ADMum20 · 18/01/2021 20:46

Goodness me. Rightmove and/or the Estate Agent must have pulled a muscle with all the stretching required to add ‘Norwich’ to the location 😂😂

Cissyandflora · 18/01/2021 20:47

I absolutely love this house! If only I had money.

ToffeeNotCoffee · 18/01/2021 20:50

Gee, this looks like the museum of nightmares. The full size male statue is bad enough. Every time you look up, you are confronted with his genitals.

The giant owl head on the coffee table is just something else ! I'm just not eccentric enough to appreciate it. But blimey, is that what £1.35million buys you ?!

AbbieLexie · 18/01/2021 20:51

Fabulous house

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 18/01/2021 20:57

I love it.

newnamesameold · 18/01/2021 21:02

@UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername

I love it.
Me too!
maddiemookins16mum · 18/01/2021 21:05

I like it too.

HPLikecraft · 18/01/2021 21:10

Great house, love the fusion of traditional and modern/quirky.

The all grey Mrs Hinch mob who tear out period features and knock rooms through into kitchen diners.
