Share with me your recent retail therapy.

I bought these fairy lights from Cable and Cotton. I love the glow they've bought to my kitchen.

Defintely got my eye on the Cable and Cotton lights.

I got this seasalt bedding before Christmas and the cotton is beautiful. I can hardly bear to get up!

Still working through this, but wanted to add:

My kobo e-reader - bought in the first lockdown specifically because I can read library ebooks on it FOR FREE! (I've definitely saved the cost of the kobo itself already).

Brings me joy, and sanity, every day. Highly recommended (and you should join your neighbouring library too for double the catalogue)

The Duke from Bridgerton wasn’t available 🤣

LadyofMisrule · 18/01/2021 22:42

A heated throw. Easily the best thing I've bought in years.

Frodont · 18/01/2021 22:44

My Le Creuset mugs (from dd for xmas)
My diptyque Pomander candle
My new neoprene lined wellies
My Nivea watermelon lip balm that I bought today from the supermarket

You can get lots of embroidery kits like the one the PP posted from Etsy.

OhioOhioOhio · 18/01/2021 22:47

The recipe book called The Ice Kitchen.

Sallycinnamum · 19/01/2021 10:20

I must stop reading this thread before my bank account screams at me!

I know this isn't a small purchase but my new kitchen extension. We had a small one added to our kitchen before xmas and its been one of the best things we've ever done to our house.

The first thing I bought was a retro sideboard and a record player to put on top so I've dug out all my old vinyl from storage and spent many a happy hour listening to tunes from my youth!

ouchmyfeet · 19/01/2021 10:58

I bought the Neom oil diffuser. I know I could have spent less but I absolutely LOVE it.

TrickyD · 19/01/2021 11:07

I bought DS1 and DP a Duocrisp air fryer for Christmas. They are so delighted with it they keep ringing up to tell me what wonderful food they have produced. So joy for me via them.

Meanwhile on Black Friday I got a Kenwood KMix and am thrilled. Also a sweatshirt from Amazon, dark blue with white stars, I love it.

sausagepastapot · 19/01/2021 11:59

Rapidlash serum, its absolutely amazing. My natural lashes are humungous!

CoronaIsShit · 19/01/2021 12:54

Water flosser - bought end of Nov, at last week’s dentist appointment he said my gums were much healthier than at my last appointment. I also like how it feels.

Cross trainer, ab cruncher and hand weights - can pretend I’m at the gym which is my favourite place.

Electric blanket - well for DS to lay under while he’s on his iPad and it makes him happy.

Two 'lounge dresses' from M&S. So much more comfy than pyjamas.

Tier10 · 19/01/2021 13:43

Links please to your lounge dresses.

That dress does look comfy @Wrongsideofhistorymyarse but that slogan makes me snigger Grin

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 19/01/2021 14:52

That's one reason I bought it AwkwardAsAllGetOut Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/01/2021 14:55

Any chance of some links to good wellies, ideally not stupidly high priced? Thanks.

Today I bought:
daffodils
a clipboard
some vegetables
Going into a real shop felt quite nice, but only the daffodils felt particularly joyful.

Nordic socks. Thanks to a friend I made on MN over 15 years ago! Going back to read the thread from the start now

amusedbush · 19/01/2021 15:12

A Nintendo Switch and Animal Crossing. It’s so soothing and satisfying to play.

A much more ridiculous item is a pump dispenser for coffee syrup. I make myself an iced latte every morning and I bought a £5 pump top so I can make the perfect coffee with the right amount of syrup Blush

Eek those URLs aren't easy on the eye. I'll try photos instead. A mug from Anthropologie and a ring I've had my eye on for years.

Three new sewing patterns and lots of gorgeous fabric. Haven't sewn in about two years so I'm very excited!
