Share with me your recent retail therapy.

I bought these fairy lights from Cable and Cotton. I love the glow they've bought to my kitchen.

Exactly the thing to amuse. The kids ( and grown ups) 😂

A puppy we got the day before lockdown (and is now almost a year old!)

And a national trust membership.

Gorgeous doggo! Is s/he a show cocker and do you recommend?
Davros · 20/01/2021 17:22

JM10 I don't know if this is similar to the one mentioned above. Mine sounds more basic, I got it at the Optician's on their advice.

Thank you! Yes, he's a show cocker but thinks he's working! I would 100% recommend - he is the most loving and loyal boy - our little best pal. However, the cockerdile phase was very intense - if we'd had small children I think we would have struggled. He also needs a lot of off lead exercise, which suits us, but maybe not others. Happy to give a warts and all account in PMs if you have questions. Smile

@TheFairyCaravan where did you get the pattern? Your sheep is very cute, I feel like I need one on my life 🙃

Thank you. I mustn't PM, I'm so broody for a puppy, I mustn't be tempted any more! Grin

Nicer food.

TheFairyCaravan · 20/01/2021 20:56

@SlumdogMummy, thank you. It’s a Heidi Bears pattern from Ravelry.

I bought a ukulele! I used to have one as a kid, and wanted a project to keep me entertained during lockdown. I’m not sure my DH is so pleased with this purchase...

explorerdog · 21/01/2021 12:35

So many ideas on this thread, I feel the need to treat myself now!

I bought some gloves from amazon that mean I can use my mandolin without injury.
Our rescue greyhound, she's amazing and brings so much joy
Kitchen aid is epic

DMCWelshcakes · 21/01/2021 12:54

A popsy jumpsuit. I love it.

lunalulu · 21/01/2021 12:59

Seychelles candle from white company

ChocolateSantaisthebestkind · 21/01/2021 13:05

Ugg Boots (so warm and comfy to wear in the house)
Whittards Christmas Coffee in the sale (reminds me of pre covid coffee shop drinks, without the sugar!)
Sherpa lined fleece

Walkley18 · 21/01/2021 14:34

@HuckfromScandal I got the flower one from Amazon

I will be getting the flapper one from Amazon when it finally arrives, and the seaside one, pictured, just received today, from Etsy.

A wok.

This is the point I'm now at thanks to lockdown.

I am excited by a wok.

carlywurly · 21/01/2021 23:13

Actual grown up bed linen for my bed. Gorgeous.

It was one of those weird things where I just thought about it one day and then all the pop ups started like my iPad could read my mind,

Other than that, I have my pineapple plant which was a gift and is awesome and my heated throw - velvet on one side, fleece on the other.

I am all up for finding the treats where we can at the moment.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/01/2021 23:24

2 new pairs of boots. Boots are my favourite.

Curlygirl42 · 21/01/2021 23:48

I want some magnetic eyelashes now! Are they easy to apply can anyone tell me?

ilovebagpuss · 22/01/2021 07:44

I bought a Burts Bees Cream blusher stick as I decided my haggard face needed cream blusher. It had good reviews and has a sort of centre stick of moisturising balm and the colour around the outside.
Anyway it’s lovely easy to apply smells nice I even pop some on my eyes.
I tend to virtual shop and keep things in baskets for a while often when I go back the urge has worn off saves a fortune!

Mn2020Cc · 25/01/2021 17:57

Very domestic and boring I'm afraid.
I bought an actifry genius when my (very) old original model actifry died a death. Its lovely, bigger capacity than my old one and makes much better chips!

MummyG44 · 25/01/2021 18:27

Lovely thread! Little things always bring me joy. Recent purchases have been daffodils which have just started to make an appearance again in the supermarkets, my Lavazza milk frother and some Emma Bridgewater cutlery in the sale

@Angrymum22

DS16 hit rock bottom over Xmas, he was desperate to go back to school and eventually opened up to me about how he was feeling. We had a chat about taking on a challenge over this lockdown. He told me that he wanted to try and teach himself to play the guitar. I was straight onto Amazon. He has made steady progress and makes a decent sound. His mood has improved and he is smiling again. Joy!
Love this ❤️
