Mint tea

Can anyone recommend a brand of mint tea that actually tastes of mint please? Have tried Tetleys and Lidls own so far but they're just like drinking coloured hot water.

Pukka 3 mint tea is my favourite

buckeejit · 16/01/2021 18:53

Another vote for pukka-best herbal teas I've tried

bendybeep · 16/01/2021 18:55

Pukka 3 mint

Or fresh mint!

All of the Pukka teas are lovely.

peoplearepeople · 16/01/2021 19:03

Agree with Pukka 3 mint. Also find the Asda peppermint tea surprisingly good and much cheaper!
Have you tried teapigs? Am a fan of lots of their teas.
I do think though that some of the best mint teas can come from buying loose leaf tea instead of the bags.

bigbluebus · 16/01/2021 19:04

Looks like it's unanimous - will try Pukka. Thank you.

@peoplearepeople. I don't go to Asda as there isn't one nearby. Will look out for teapigs though thanks.

Also Aldi do a great one, challenges teapigs for me and loads cheaper! Worth a try! I love mint tea!

bruffin · 16/01/2021 19:07

Agree Pukka and also Teapigs

Shesellsseashellsontheseashore · 16/01/2021 19:09

I like the aldi diplomat ones. Or their special range ones on the string are also nice but obviously more expensive and you get less.
That being said I've had the lidl ones and think they taste fine too. Definitely minty.

RosesforMama · 16/01/2021 19:52

Teapigs mint tea. Devine.

2orangey · 16/01/2021 19:56

I like the Aldi one.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 16/01/2021 20:00

Teapigs choc & mint tea tastes delicious. It's like a hot, liquid choc & mint ice-cream.

sofakingawesome · 16/01/2021 20:01

I like the peppermint and liquorice ones... way more minty than just mint ones Grin

dollywooddreams · 16/01/2021 20:01

Asda - can you get deliveries?

Wallabyone · 16/01/2021 20:03

I don't like any mint flavoured tea, but fresh mint tea is delicious and it's the easiest herb to keep in a pot.

doodleygirl · 16/01/2021 20:03

Pukka or Aldi’s tea pig rip offs. Not the normal Aldi mint tea

winewolfhowls · 16/01/2021 20:04

Always smells a bit spunky to me, from a distance! Love a green tea though.

Stationfork · 16/01/2021 20:07

Pukka 3 mint haha

purplemunkey · 16/01/2021 20:07

I like Brew Tea Company, order from their website.

SunshineandShudders · 16/01/2021 20:08

I never thought I liked mint tea but then (for some unknow reason) I had a cup in a posh hotel. It was a Newby branded tea and really excellent. Nothing at all like the supermarket ones I'd tried previously. DS1 got me the Teapigs ones for Christmas and they're also very good.

QueenPawPaws · 16/01/2021 20:09

Teapigs or bird and blend

ScarlettDarling · 16/01/2021 20:09

I love the m and s one but the key for me is to leave the teabag in for a much mintier taste!

Treeballarae · 17/01/2021 12:56

The most minty I've found is the Tesco Finest Peppermint Leaves pyramid bags, they are similar to the Teapigs Peppermint leaves ones.

RaggedR0b1n · 17/01/2021 14:09

Fresh mint- the herb

Easy to grow too
