*Who are you, the grammer police? Grammar*

Brilliant @WorraLiberty 😂

It was done in purpose 🙄
mellongoose · 16/01/2021 08:21

Any institution that wants to teach unconscious bias training. If this thread is anything to go by, it will be a completely impossible task 🤣

princessandthedragon · 16/01/2021 08:30

People who preach their political views on Facebook (as if their opinion is the only valid one).

redandwhite1 · 16/01/2021 08:37

@shrunkenhead

Fruit shoots Under 5s having fizzy drinks Babies/toddlers drinking anything other than milk or water from a bottle Dummies Forward facing pushchairs Earphones McDonalds BMWS/Audis etc Trout pouts "Activewear" Slug eyebrows General jiggery fakery Silly dogs Staffordshire bull terriers Scary dogs WFH Tumble drivers Babies with head bands
WFH??

So you're basically judging almost the entire population of the world right now???

Nishky · 16/01/2021 08:39

Babies with headbands- bit harsh to judge the babies

standupsitdownturnaround · 16/01/2021 08:48

@Robbybobtail

Botox, fake eyebrows, teeth veneers, contouring etc. A materialistic mentality, especially when you can’t afford it I,e. Designer clothes, expensive car, latest gadgets etc all bought on credit when you live in a very WC area/house etc. Just buying for buyings sake. People who are genuinely interested in the lives of celebrities and want to discuss the ins and outs of their latest marriage/baby/procedure People who only have one child for reasons such as thinking it’s bad for the environment to have more People who believe everything the government says and think having a walk outdoors with your friend or buying a takeout coffee is contributing to the rise in COVID cases. People who know you but don’t acknowledge you when out and about or on the school run - I hate rudeness

Can't imagine why anyone you know would ignore you! You sound positively delightful Grin

themaskedsinger · 16/01/2021 08:49

Babies with those daft headbands with a ginormous bow
Parents who don’t encourage DC to learn in any form
People who don’t read
People who live in the UK and haven’t ever visited London

I've never seen that. Presumably it's only babies with long, thick hair and there aren't many of those.
TheFairyCaravan · 16/01/2021 08:56

Influencers like Hinch, Stacey Solomon and the Inghams who’d sell their kids to the devil if it made them a few quid, and the people who follow the influencers.

People who exaggerate their children’s looks and achievements. It’s shitty and mean. They should be enough for you.

People who don’t pick up their dog muck

People who park in disabled bays without a blue badge.

People who judge disabilities, especially invisible disabilities.

People who let their kids run riot, or scoot, round supermarkets. They’re not playgrounds.

People who forget that when in restaurants etc most other people don’t want to hear their conversations.

People who buy pets at Pets at Home, or similar, on a whim without doing any research then commit it to a lifetime of misery in a tiny cage. Or worse still get rid of it a few weeks later because it’s too much work and little Johnny is bored of it.

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 16/01/2021 08:56

Oh it's not! I think some use them to make their bald baby look more "girly" or something.

I hate them too, being tacky and ugly is one thing, but they look so damn uncomfortable. Why, just why.

themaskedsinger · 16/01/2021 08:58

Oh and people who don’t even know basic world geography

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 16/01/2021 08:59

I agree, but I have seen a poster complaining about people who play DOWN or don't mention the kids achievements and being disgusted/shocked/horrified when the child wins a top competition/ gets a place in a top school or university out of the blue 😂

Seems some parents think they are doing a public service by boasting about their own child!

Straighttalking1 · 16/01/2021 09:03

Not breastfeeding and then seek sympathy when DC gets sick. Duh

what the fuck did I do wrong when I BF my kid and they DID get sick?

I know you shouldn't argue with stupid, but some posters are really pushing it.

WOW
Mookie81 · 16/01/2021 09:06
@Mookie81 I may be guilty of judging those who wear flip flops in cities or in Sainsburys. They are for the beach or the garden or generally relaxing
I agree with the flipflops one, that's not me Grin.
I judge people who have ridiculously intertwined 'blended' families- no one seems to ask the poor kids what they want, and I'm not saying parents should be single until they're kids are 18, but some of the stories on here are awful. You don't have to have a kid with every bloody partner! I also judge celebrities in this set up.

Babyroobs · 16/01/2021 09:06

Littering, spitting in the street, smoking. I hate those trousers that look like they are falling down and just want to yank them up and tighten their belt. Builders bums on show in the supermarket are equally irritating, we don't need to see it.

Oh god yes scooters in supermarkets, what on earth are the parents doing thinking that's acceptable?
IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 16/01/2021 09:08

Ear piercings in babies and primary children, same for makeup and nail varnish.
People who act like they are the first person to ever be pregnant and think the whole world should be thrilled and wait on them hand and foot
Baby showers
People who think a relationship only counts if you have a child in it

Babyroobs · 16/01/2021 09:09

And people who call their kids ( and even their dogs ) Lillie- May or Ellie- May, or Riley-Jay. Sorry I'm sure that's a whole other thread.

AmoElCafe · 16/01/2021 09:12

People who live in London and haven’t visited anywhere else in the UK.

Oreservoir · 16/01/2021 09:27

@themaskedsinger I agree with you about London. Surely curiosity alone would make you want to visit the capital once.

Confusedandshaken · 16/01/2021 09:34

@penguinhats

Wow really nasty thread. Quite an eye opener! Genuine question - do the people who judge so much on here think they are perfect themselves?
I posted earlier in the thread about some things that I silently judge. I'm fully aware that many people (including some of my very closest friends and relations) judge me for other things. These include, but are not limited to - having botox and other tweakments, drinking too much too frequently, being overweight, choosing not to do paid work, having a cleaner despite not working. My mum judges me for for enjoying SCD and other popular, lowbrow tv. My brother judges me for drinking champagne and not 2L bottles of lager. People here will probably now judge me for stealth boasting that I can afford champagne.

It's ridiculous to pretend that people don't have secret prejudices and judgements. You might think you are an exception but IMO that displays a lack of self awareness. That's not something I'd judge you for!

mumnowformerrockstar · 16/01/2021 09:45

What do people find so bad about having more than two children?
