What do you silently judge people for?

I would say
Talking on public transport , wish they would be quiet.

OP posts:

"Opening a packet, and eating something before purchased"

I DEFINITELY judge parents who present an empty packet (if you're lucky) at a check out. Really ? Your child couldn't wait to eat it ? She'd've had a meltdown otherwise "and you wouldn't want to see that!"

Generally, when this is posted on forums, there seems to be a straight 50:50 split, but I even know adults who do it, who really should know better

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/01/2021 19:03

Out of interest, those people who have said caravans/caravanners: what is it that specifically makes you judge people for it? Is it the holding up traffic, the bores who can talk of nothing else, or what?

Surely you aren't judging working class people for wanting to be able to have family holidays, when all other options (except camping in a tent) are beyond our wherewithal during the school holidays.... or are you judging that exactly? Surely you'd judge us far more harshly if we took our children out of school during term time, as that would be the only time we could afford he price of a family holiday in bricks-and-mortar accommodation (or even a static caravan rental during peak season)?

I don’t get this ‘babies in childcare’ thing. Where else are they supposed to go when their parents earn a living?

AiryFairyMum · 15/01/2021 19:03

People who say "gifted" when they mean "gave".

"My mother gifted me a large bunch of flowers".

No, she gave it to you.

MellowYellow101 · 15/01/2021 19:03

@mumnowformerrockstar

Those who think coconut oil is the answer to all of life's problems. As in '. Bad eczema- cover yourself in coconut oil' 'Want healthy gums- swish coconut oil in there' 'Want to dump butter- use coconut oil instead' ' you have acne?' Wash and moisturise your face with coconut oil' The list goes on and on....
Not going to lie, it is good for hair conditioning 💇‍♀️
Elderflower14 · 15/01/2021 19:03

People saying haitch instead of aitch...
I watch the gorgeous Adil Ray on Lingo with my Mum every afternoon and almost all of the contestants say haitch!! 😡 😡

Sarcobaleno · 15/01/2021 19:04

@Georgyporky

People with dogs using foodbanks. They could buy food for the family if they didn't buy dog food. Or, kill 2 birds with one stone......
Are you a Tory MP. You sound like one.
AiryFairyMum · 15/01/2021 19:04

People who take down their Christmas tree on Boxing Day. Joyless.

AiryFairyMum · 15/01/2021 19:05

People who set off fireworks in daylight. What's the point?

Cam77 · 15/01/2021 19:05

@MAK93
People who wear pyjamas to go to the shop, or in public at all 🤷🏻‍♀️
Nah these people are winning at life.

mumnowformerrockstar · 15/01/2021 19:05

Those people who get offended by every little thing online. Or twist your words if you make a comment so they are offended by something you haven't actually said 😂

Snapcat · 15/01/2021 19:06

Women wearing/ posting about their breast milk jewellery. It’s like walking around with your own congealed blood in a capsule round your neck.

TwinkleToesForever · 15/01/2021 19:06

Those elastic baby headband things with bows. Onesies at school gates or in supermarket

Daydrambeliever · 15/01/2021 19:07

@SnowflakeCulture

I've come across many uneducated people that can't read or write - all English natives. How these people can't read or write in their own mother tongue is amazing. They have really crap parents.

Or a learning disability.

I hate that too with a vengeance though technically it is not incorrect. I do wish it hadn't caught on here. I 'got gifted' is dreadful ('So I got gifted..' ten times worse), were we not always taught to keep the use of 'got' and 'get' to the minimum?

Saying 'them' instead of 'those'; 'could of', 'bored of' - far worse when written than spoken.

Over use of capital letters, as if everything is a headline.

Smoking when pregnant. As an ex smoker whp quit the day I found out with both pregnancies (and never went back after DD2) I cannot understand how anyone could knowingly put their unborn child at risk by smoking.
People who smoke at all.

Let's face it, don't we all silently judge others?
It's one thing silently judging. Fleeting thoughts can be difficult to control.

It's another thing vocalising those thoughts on a thread so everyone knows how mean spirited they are. It's called having a social filter and reigning it in, keeping it under control

Is a social filter necessary on an anonymous forum?

It probably serves a purpose to vent on an anonymous forum, but reading through the things people are judging others about does expose their mindset. Maybe seeing it all in one place intensifies it!

I've never seen that. How repulsive!

Ha !

Headbands on completely bald babies also makes me laugh like a drain

Breastplate jewellery? Wow I never knew it was a thing...

parents should have saved enough money to ensure one of them could look after the baby for the first few months. I do judge anyone who can't even spend 6 months with a baby. Children do need to learn independence, but so young?
MarthasGinYard · 15/01/2021 19:12

Kids that eat going around the supermarket and pay for empty packet

I mean why on earth would you

WTF

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 15/01/2021 19:12

the what now? Shock

Good grief, they seem to be sold by companies who also offer cremation ashes jewellery. That's an interesting mix!

Mooballs · 15/01/2021 19:13

NHS staff smoking outside hospitals..

purplecorkheart · 15/01/2021 19:13

Habitually being late. Littering. Being loud. Gossiping. Being rude. Doing duck face on social media/cv photo.
