@NobodyPuttsBabyinCorner

Everything

I can usually nail someone's persona and interests by way they present themselves. It makes everything impossible to avoid judging!

But if you want specifics, people who:

Drive an SUV
Own a hot tub
Think they've 'visited' a country despite never leaving an all-inclusive resort
Gin drinkers
Display even the tiniest interest in reality tv
People with zero knowledge of the world, history, science etc
Brexit voters
Conservatives
Posting endless updates on Fb of all the 'must be seen' places they've been
Thinking 'gardening' is paving over the entire garden with slabs/astro turf
Mongrel (sorry 'pedigree') owners of cockapoos, labradoodles etc
Anyone with a Live Laugh Love type motif in their home
Like football

Basically.... feckless, uneducated, closed minded, narcissistic show offs

Now I don't need to write mine down, except I have nothing against gin (perhaps only the drinkers) Plus lazy people The list is too long...
EmilyG1989 · 15/01/2021 17:47

Will I be judged for reading this thread instead of talking to my boy? 😂😂😂

Youdonut · 15/01/2021 17:47

I'm an intolerant fucker, and probably pretty intolerable too. So here goes.

  • People who suck their fingers when they eat. It looks and sounds vile, and something I'd expect from an ape. If I see someone doing this I judge that they must be either fucking starving or raised in a household of appalling manners, likely the latter.
  • People who chew gum with their mouth open, or make a disgusting wet slopping sound when they chew gum. This is a particular problem on buses. If I'm at the front of the bus and you're half way down the bus and I can still hear you chewing, then you're disgusting, and as above, must have been raised with no manners.
  • People who play with their gums/false teeth/lack of false teeth to an audible level. This is usually something of the older generation although I'm aware not always.
  • People who make the effort to wear head phones, but have their music so loud you can hear the annoying beat, or even the exact song that's being played. How they've not suffered hearing damage, I don't know. I typically judge such people to be extremely self un-aware.

(If you can't tell by now, I have misophonia, so I tend to judge these things are just being bad mannered).

  • People who think everyone should worship their kids, or just generally think they're great. Most of them are seriously annoying wankers.
  • People who buy puppies of brachycephalic dog breeds. I judge you to be an awful cunt for supporting animal cruelty. I also judge you for defending it because you don't really give a shit and refuse to face the truth.
  • People who live to only get pissed on the weekends. I judge you to be completely boring and of little substance.(Other than booze, of course).
  • People who get pets for kids. I generally deem you to be unintelligent and thus unaware that most pets and kids don't mix, and that your pets (where they have ears) are probably completely sick of your kids screaming as well, and would wish they were anywhere but there, if they had the capability to wish. (Of course there are exceptions to this and genuinely responsible owners).
  • People who ignore their kids whilst they sit on their phone. I judge you to be a bad parent.
  • People who think the worst thing you can be, is fat. And that it is absolutely always a lifestyle choice, rather than sometimes being induced by illness. I judge you to be stupid, not educated and having not got out much.
  • People who are into high end labels, like LV, Gucci etc. You're a sheep. It's particularly funny when the person is on a low income (as I am myself!) and they scrimp and spend every last bit of money on a designer handbag, to advertise a name. It's unreasonable judgement, because it's their money at the end of the day, and they are completely justified on spending it on whatever they want. But I still think they're stupid.
  • People who wear mini skirts in brutally cold weather. Unreasonable judgement again, because it's none of my business what anyone wears and people can wear whatever the hell they like. Nevertheless, I can't seem to not judge such people as desperately looking for attention.
  • Conspiracy theorists. In fairness, I actually genuinely think such people may have some delusions, and so am a bit more tolerant of that. If they don't, then again, stupid.
  • People who breed a lot. In this day and age, anything more than 2 and I judge you to be either completely unaware of the current state of the world and the direction it's heading, selfish and throw in that probably the guy should really try wearing a condom or stop bloody shagging, and the woman should close her legs once in a while (or bother with contraception - male or female). I know this is an offensive one. Sorry.

Above all, I'm aware that I'm completely unreasonable in most of these judgements, that some are absolutely hypocritical, and most are horrifically offensive and that I really shouldn't think so much about what other people do. But, it's an honest one. And no, I'm not proud of some of these judgements/opinions.

MellowYellow101 · 15/01/2021 17:48

Vegans trying to ram their dietary choices down non vegans throats by trying to bombard them when they leave nandos (yes had that happen to me, shown photos of dead chickens and other farm animals after I had a medium peri peri meal which may I add was delicious!) And then when you tell them you enjoy eating meat and respect their personal choices they think its fun to enlighten you with all the pus and such in milk (such as a previous poster).

So not a secret, but very judgemental to the vegans that like to (attempt to more like) shame meat eaters.

AuntVictoria · 15/01/2021 17:48

@RosaBaby2 what's wrong with babies in snow suits in carriers? Genuine question, DD is in the sling constantly as I have a toddler so just want to know if there's an issue I should be aware of (I've learnt loads from Mumsnet over the years about sling safely, avoiding crotch danglers, forward facing etc etc).

LST · 15/01/2021 17:48

@jaypreen this thread is mostly shaming people. Most do not need to be said out loud. People should be ashamed of themselves

EmilyG1989 · 15/01/2021 17:49

@NeedCoffeeToSurvive

Chewing loudly or with their mouth open, my mum does it and it's like watching a camel eat.
Hahaa
Stovetopespresso · 15/01/2021 17:50

people who vote selfishly ie just for their own interests
people who don't realise who privileged they are and judge others by their standards
overweight people buying loads of junk food for their kids (fine for themselves)

KatherineJaneway · 15/01/2021 17:50

People who:

Spit in public
Smoke around their children / or other children
Judge others on what car they drive
People who are inconsiderate with noise
People who smell of BO

DarkDarkNight · 15/01/2021 17:51

@NavyFlask

Gin drinkers? *@NobodyPuttsBabyinCorner* gin has had an huge resurgence in the last decade. Surely you can't judge them all?
I judge gin drinkers too if it hasn’t always been their drink. The huge resurgence is the reason I’m judging. Bandwagon jumpers the lot of them Grin.

The endless tedious discussion about new flavours and tonics is boring.

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 15/01/2021 17:51

Having children/pets and then complaining about having to look after them
This one and add those who think the costs of both should fall to others.

Those who put children into childcare when they don’t work or book a holiday and use the children’s club.
Tattoos
Big weddings, wedding dresses and expecting gifts for a second wedding.
Pictures of adults around their own house
Making memories - no it’s just doing what a parent should do in most cases

Pyewhacket · 15/01/2021 17:52

Champagne Socialists
Breastfeeding exhibitionists
Caravan owners
Thick teenagers
City centre cyclists
People who talk loudly in restaurants
Vegan eco warriors

Fembot123 · 15/01/2021 17:52

People who hate on vegans that don’t harass people, the shit I got when I tried veganuary was off the charts and obviously I didn’t go round shaming people as I was dipping a toe in but lots of people take it as a direct insult.

Stovetopespresso · 15/01/2021 17:52

people boasting about getting their vaccine?? I am jealous mainly

Jaypreen · 15/01/2021 17:53

this thread is mostly shaming people. Most do not need to be said out loud

According to you.

The key is in the word "silently". It's just a bit of fun please stop being so uptight. It's Friday and were all bored stiff.

NeonSparkle · 15/01/2021 17:53

People not wearing a mask
Or wearing a mask but under their nose,
When people say ‘they was ...’ instead of ‘they were’
Double barrelled first names for babies,
When parents talk to their children like shit on their shoe / scream at them in public,
People that drink a bottle of wine every night.

Fembot123 · 15/01/2021 17:54

Jaypreen · 15/01/2021 17:55

People who say People who hate on . Why can't they just "hate" like they used to ?

peaceanddove · 15/01/2021 17:55

The uneducated. I attended a training day recently and had to suffer the company of grown adults who used 'hospickle' for hospital, and spent lunch avidly discussing some shite reality show about strangers having random sex in cabins?

I. Just. Wanted. To. Cry.

However, I do drive a Range Rover Sport and love a 5* all inclusive Grin

Sweetpea84 · 15/01/2021 17:56

People who call their kids wains

RhubarbAndRoses · 15/01/2021 17:57

Those of you judging working mums, stay at home mums and mums who choose not to breastfeed. You’re nothing but a bunch of C U Next Tuesdays. That is all, as you were.

Fembot123 · 15/01/2021 17:57

I remember wanting to cry when I saw some girl who was famous for going on tv getting blind drunk and wetting the bed through said drunkenness had a apartment in Canary Wharf
