We're close enough not to need to park there 😁
Been here 2 years now and love it

Yes I’m very old ! Left Hull back in late 60s but family still live up there all out in the villages now or Beverley. I do like going back, I live in the wilds of Wales and it’s good to see shops, traffic and people !

I'm from Hull. The houses on Spring Bank West are, if you've got the £ do to them up, gorgeous. The traffic, the noise and the general ambience are not. It may end up gentrified in the end, but I wouldn't bet my house on it personally

the concept blew my mind when my friend told me about them back when we met at uni. what with those and the chip spice I was like what is this wondrous place where everyone gives carbs the respect they deserve? Grin

mind you, when my friend moved to Sheffield she was flummoxed about driving, specifically hill starts, because hull's steepest hill is apparently just like a normal slight incline in Sheffield.

@MadameButterface when I moved to Leeds my cars clutch and my thighs knew about it. Thought I’d moved to the bloody Himalayas!

ottermadness · 15/01/2021 18:30

Ahhh croggies and 10fts!

grafittiartist · 15/01/2021 18:35

Oh now I want a patty buttie!!

Somebodyotherthanme · 15/01/2021 18:37

I used to work at Sgt Pepper's in the early 90s.

shotofchips · 15/01/2021 18:40

@handsforfeet

That is amazing. Why is it so cheap? Thought hull was gentrifying?
Good god, is it?
shotofchips · 15/01/2021 18:40

@Fabpinky

I love it! I like how there is no second initial cushion just A & blank. Reminds me of when my ex took his initial cushion when he moved out
Haha that's amazing

I think they sent some guardian music person up here to patronise us in 2016 and repeat 'housemartins, philip Larkin' 3 trillion times but thats about it for gentrifying

www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/85643842#/media?id=media1 this is in a lovely area of HU5, very quiet and leafy. It is so beautiful and spacious!
