Sonic Boom?

Did anyone else in Essex or possibly further out hear a massive bang about 20 minutes ago?

All my neighbours ran out in the street and someone I know who lives about 40 miles away heard it too

Heard it in Cambridge too - was definitely a sonic boom and confirmed by police.

No but something similar happened in the midlands a few days ago.

It's probably Trump losing the plot again 😄

I've just seen a news headline about this.... feel like I'm missing out a bit here in the midlands!

Looks like it might have been a jet heading south (over Cambs) from Coningsby

And over towards Ely too- thought I was going mad & sent the dog off on one

We just assumed that the industrial plant a few miles away had blown up

Enfield here. We were walking in the woods and wondered if we were the last people alive!

We’re in Essex and my dd has just asked me if I heard it , she was in the garden and said she thought a bomb had gone off. I didn’t hear a thing!

We heard it in South London. I had no idea what is was until I read this.

Another one here in NE London who heard it reporting in. I thought something really heavy had fallen on my roof and building shook.

2 x Euro fighter Typhoons jets that broke the sound barrier above Chelmsford racing to intercept a German registered aircraft that was not communicating
