.... Cook books.

I have hardly any fucking time to cook, but they look so nice on my shelf!

Curious to see what you're all hoarding... Grin

Eyeshadow
Perfume

Lipsticks, I must have thousands, and knickers, because I'm always buying ones with patterns I like.

CarterBeatsTheDevil · 12/01/2021 04:54

Books. Yarn. Crochet hooks and knitting needles. SCARVES.

joystir59 · 12/01/2021 04:56

Mosaic tiles. I'm a mosaic artist and teacher. Can never have too many lovely tiles.

PhilCornwall1 · 12/01/2021 05:19

Hydroxychloroquiine, multiple boxes of the stuff.

When Trump was bleating on about how good it is, I offered him a few boxes as I've got some spare. He told me he wanted bleach! Hmm

BeanieB2020 · 12/01/2021 05:44

Kirby grips. I must have bought ten thousand of the damned things and I find them everywhere EXCEPT FOR when I need one. Then I can't find a single one.

Ultimateblends · 12/01/2021 08:03

I must say as a default horder, who has to fight against my horder tendencies- this thread has made me feel 'normal and better, as I've managed to get on top of things!

My last hord to go was a bag of electric cables, charges and god knows what else - which just kept getting bigger and bigger

Also: USB sticks, broken electrics, old mobile phones and digital cameras - I have no idea how to get the photo or videos off them, so they just keep piling up in the spare room!
It really stresses me out

Also: halloween decorations. I love Halloween and keep adding!

For anyone wondering how to get rid of stuff, list on shpock or olio - olio everything is free and there's a 'non-food' section, shpock you can list for free or a price.

Things like PP said, packs of pants with one used, will go on those apps.

How ive decluttered, is from listings on shpock or olio. Someone always wants what you have!

Children Wine
And wool. Especially hand dyed yarn. No idea what I will ever do with it but it’s so pretty and squishy

Dowser · 12/01/2021 09:20

Dresses, I love them. Two years ago I gave 60 to charity. Hardly made a dent
Cardigans and coats
Supplements and herbal tinctures
Boots and shoes
Crystals. There’s isn’t a shelf or ledge that doesn’t come with it’s own array of nature’s treasures. Cleansing and programming them, takes a week.
Essential oils and oil diffusers
Books, mostly on healing, natural therapies
Photographs
Underwear.can’t resist it..or primark ladies boxer style knicks apparently
Thankfully I have a lot of storage so my house doesn’t reflect the hoarder I am

Next out the door will be skirts and tops..I just don’t wear them anymore
So much easier to fling on a dress and cardi

You’ll be able to name your price. I have it as an energy pattern with zinc Keeps it simple
Dowser · 12/01/2021 09:25

@Worst

Multiples of the same clothes. I’m quite picky, so when I find something I really like I buy multiples. Not even different colours, but more of the same thing.
I do that. The style of dresses I like is vastly disappearing, so when the ones I’ve bought appeared in the sale, I bought them again In a bag for when the originals get dished
Dowser · 12/01/2021 09:28

Omg ..you lots have just reminded me
Dried herbs and herbal teas
Perfume
Scarves
Jewellery..especially crystal rings and bracelets
Oh and as I’m a dowser, pendulums, 60 at the last count

Dowser · 12/01/2021 09:32

@Kumquatsquash

Where do you all store this stuff? Confused

200 shoes? 60 coats?! I'm in a 2 bed flat with 2 dc and have to be ruthless so we don't all drown in stuff.

I’m in a 4 bed house with floor to ceiling storage in all bedrooms Just me and dh now He has his own hoard of Shirts Jumpers, jackets, hats, Shoes, trousers
Dowser · 12/01/2021 09:38

@Kndg

Pyjamas and nighties. I have loads. Ditto knickers. Also lots of duvet covers for each of the beds.
Omg are you me? My walk in closet has loads of bedding sets and yes they all get used. Used to love that French bedding shop at MacArthur Glenn york And little strappy nighties..camis or whatever they’re called..must have about 60 My jewellery collection is now housed in a chevalier mirror, you open the mirror door and there it all is...beautiful
pickingdaisies · 12/01/2021 10:20

Fabric remnants, far too beautiful not to buy, and one day I will be competent enough to make something with them😁

Poutintrout · 12/01/2021 11:09

Paper napkins. I buy them when Sainsbury's are having a clear out and they are reduced. I have a ridiculous stash.

Miffyliffy · 12/01/2021 11:21

Socks.

My 2 sons that have autism went through a stage where they would only wear brand new socks and wouldn't wear a pair that had been previously used, for several years I was buying enough socks for a new pair daily.

We still have all the socks and their feet were already huge so the socks still fit, thankfully they now wear socks that have been worn.

sicknote26 · 12/01/2021 23:24

Plastic bags 🙈
