Please help be find a foolproof lipbalm.

My lips are really dry and cracked, can someone recommend something that works.

I have tried loads over the years and now swear by the little tub of Nuxe. I get it in Marks.

Burt's Bees - either the beeswax or the coconut one

Nuxe reve de miel or Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm. Both expensive but great. For budget, Carmex squeeze tube. For utter decadence, by Terry baume de rose.

Badger Balm

O Keefe's - it's in a stick. Very good.

It’s personal, Nuxe or Burts bees make my lips crack and peel and bleed

Whereas Blistex and Korres are great for me

I agree with Bairnsmum05.....Nuxe is the best and the only one that seems to keep my lips moisturised without repeated applications.

O keefes orange stick lip balm is truly magical for repairing cracks very quickly.

I had braces as an adult and had the most horrendous dry lips and now use eucerin aquaphor soothing skin balm on my lips which helps keep them soft and moisturised

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream

i have tried many! but i use one by sara miller. read the amazon reviews, its the best i've found

Carmex (yellow squeezy tube/red lid) this stuff works miracles! I’ve used expensive ones and other recommended ones but I always come back to this. For me, it’s the only thing that works!

Get yourself some of that cream for nipples! Lansinoh HPA Lanolin - it's incredible for any dry skin. Really good for little kids who get dry patches on their noses or above/below their lips in winter and fantastic for lips. Also good for chapped nipples 😉

This doesn't help at all, but Kleenex used to do a nose and lip balm which is perfect for me, they seem to have discontinued it :(

I think you can't go wrong with original chap stick, I swear by it

Blistex or Carmex. Blistex slightly edges it for me.

Are you actually drinking enough water?

Dehydration is generally the most common cause of dry and cracked lips.

Currently using Jack Black's Intense Therapy lip balm as I seem to have developed an allergy to Blistex and O'keefs (swore by these before!). It's very hydrating and not sticky.

If you want another 67 million recommendations OP, get over to the Style and Beauty board. This topic comes up about twice a week and there is absolutely NO consensus- O'Keefes comes out marginally ahead I think, with Carmel, Blistex and Lanolips, Lansinoh nipple cream and Nuxe all having lots of recs.

Anyone familiar with the Nuxe

When I look it up there's a white / cream coloured one and a gold / orangey one

Is one an older version or are tjey

or are they different products
