Do you have an electric blanket?

I'm thinking of getting one. DP doesn't want one but he's only here at weekends, I need something to keep me warm when he's not here to cuddle up to! Are they worth it? What brands should I look out for/avoid?

Yes have a dual control one as DH is always roasting. I've had electric blankets since I was 12 so would never be without one - I just hate getting into a cold bed! I turn it off once I'm in bed though.
