I’ve just ordered one! I’m hoping I haven’t been sucked in by marketing as I could really do with releasing the tension in my shoulders!

Anyone else have one? The reviews look great!

Yes - I have been using mine for 10+ years and I love it. I use it for relaxation, and often nap on it.

Annoy · 03/01/2021 20:56

Ooh fab! I’m really looking forward to using it

I love mine too! Was quite sceptical but it’s fab.

KindergartenKop · 03/01/2021 22:51

They look painful

Winterplant · 03/01/2021 22:54

I think the science is they work by causing pain which releases endorphins Sad

DiscontentedWoman · 03/01/2021 22:56

Mine isn't shakti brand but I love it. Great for "stress-first-aid" I find

Haggisfish · 03/01/2021 22:57

It isn’t sore. They force you to relax equally across your whole body otherwise it is sore!

Annoy · 04/01/2021 07:24

I love my foam roller, and that’s painful! Maybe I’m a sadist 🤣

I've got one and I really like it. Back has improved and so has my sleep.

But getting off is........ouchy!!!

Annoy · 04/01/2021 07:29

Yes I’ve heard that it’s tricky to get off! 🙈

I used to know the family who developed this product and they are the loveliest people. We lived in the same village and went to nursery together.

Thirtyysomething · 04/01/2021 07:38

I bought one just before Christmas. It eases my shoulder pain and helps me sleep. I don’t find it too painful, I even fell to sleep on it the other evening!

Bingowin · 04/01/2021 09:02

Where is the best place to buy one?

Annoy · 04/01/2021 19:09

They are fantastic. I've graduated to the hardcore one!

The 'dismount' needs to be done quickly after a deep breath, a bit like ripping off a plaster.

I find I sleep like a baby afterwards, occasionally I get an almost stoned feeling when lying on it.

Weaverspin · 04/01/2021 19:54

So I guess it's not going to be as helpful if you have an asymmetric body? I have scoliosis, and the twist in my spine means my ribs stick out on one side of my back. That would mean the spikes would stick in there much harder than elsewhere, I'm thinking...
Toddlerteaplease · 04/01/2021 19:57

Yes. It's brilliant. I sleep
Like a log after using it.

Crunchiedelight · 04/01/2021 19:58

I have one and absolutely love it, so relaxing and definitely relieves pain. My husband thought it was a waste of money and very skeptical and now uses it religiously!

I find getting off of it slowly works best, if I go quickly it’s too sore for me!

AnotherFuzzyJumper · 04/01/2021 19:59

Love my one. I get tension headaches from stiff shoulders and neck and it always relieves it.

yogafairy · 04/01/2021 20:05

I love mine. I actually look forward to getting on it at night and usually fall asleep on it. I also stand on it on the morning when I first get up.

Toddlerteaplease · 04/01/2021 20:41

I don't find it painful when I get up.

Bingowin · 04/01/2021 21:15

@Annoy Thanks for the code, just ordered mine!

Yodabrussel · 04/01/2021 21:16

@yogafairy me too!!

gymbummy · 04/01/2021 21:24

Has anyone with ankylosing spondylitis who can't actually get their neck and head on the floor tried it?
