(Not judging the house in any way, just the amount of grey)

@Chumleymouse

I work in Ilkeston with lots of the inbred locals and it’s a shithole , it’s full of knuckle dragers who just hit each other with old bones 🦴
Surely you mean you work in Il'sun? Wink

'Vile' is a bit strong, it's just a bit dull.

Paloooza · 02/01/2021 21:06

Bring back Magnolia and white all is forgiven

elldog6 · 02/01/2021 21:09

I actually like everything being white and grey. Think most colour looks unclean and trashy but each to their own!

FelicityFeathers · 02/01/2021 21:11

Blimey ... let's hope the poor seller doesn't stumble across this thread eh?

maddiemookins16mum · 02/01/2021 21:16

It looks like a typical homes under the hammer refurb, they’re usually grey too.

TreaterAnita · 02/01/2021 21:17

The doors on the shed had a lucky escape...

I’m not a massive fan of the everything grey trend, but there are houses for sale in Alderley Edge for £milllions which are not dissimilar in palate.

WhatTiggersDoBest · 02/01/2021 21:29

God that house is a bit of a fashion victim. Grey everything and astroturf, it looks like it was owned by a wannabe Instagrammer. I rather feel sorry for it. Even the back fences and the lintels around the exterior front windows are grey! I hope if you buy it you put in a real garden and paint it every other colour in the world! Also ROFL at the NatWest hole.

@Bluntness100

No you didn't. That's just what everyone says on these threads

Agree, unless you’ve sight issues no one would think they are black and white photos, it’s become a weirdly common thing to say on here. [ confused]

I think Grey can be done very well, it can look lovely. As said this is quite hard and cold though, they aren’t warm greys, but easy and cheap enough to fix.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to comprehend Hmm. I was flicking through a lot of houses/ flats in a similar price bracket in 5 mile radius. Suddenly this one was devoid of colour and I thought at first that the photos were black and white.

Maybe this is better ?

It’s not to my taste, but at least it has some character!
