Handhold DH heading to ICU covid

DH went to hospital yesterday for breathing issues. We’ve been unwell for a few days and we’re already awaiting covid tests.

Just been told he’s taken a turn and is heading to ICU. He is ECV and we’ve been so careful, we’ve not been out except to the supermarket, and we’ve avoided seeing anyone.

I’m just so worried and I know the next few days will be critical

Sorry it’s been a very tough few days and honestly I’m at breaking point. DH was ventilated.

We talked with his doctors and they advised that they didn’t expect DH to recover. They have ventilated him because there is a slim chance he might but they’ve told me it’s very unlikely.

My heart is broken.

I’ve got family supporting us at the moment. We just have to wait and see.

I'm so sorry to hear your latest update, I've been following your thread but haven't posted up to now. I know the doctors are doing their best to prepare you for the worst but I'm praying for you and your family that you will get the miracle you need xx
