Handhold DH heading to ICU covid

DH went to hospital yesterday for breathing issues. We’ve been unwell for a few days and we’re already awaiting covid tests.

Just been told he’s taken a turn and is heading to ICU. He is ECV and we’ve been so careful, we’ve not been out except to the supermarket, and we’ve avoided seeing anyone.

I’m just so worried and I know the next few days will be critical

I have been watching your thread from afar. My friend was nearly ventilated around day 8 or 9 but thankfully managed on oxygen and was discharged on day 15. Truly hope this is the same outcome for your DH.
Scary times and even harder when you cant be with them. My DH is in hospital (not COVID related) its very very hard. Virtual hug from me

Oh OP, how horrible for you and your family. Unfortunately this can happen. Fingers crossed that his body fights back and that he doesn't need to be ventilated, or if he does, then it allows his body to rest and fight back. Thinking of you x
