I’m quite enjoying tonight’s lack of FOMO. We have played Scrabble without arguing and I’m going to finish off Schitt’s Creek.

We were all going to watch “Ballon” which is an amazing film about people escaping from East Germany in a balloon they sewed themselves but everyone wandered off to do their own thing.

I might go bed soon actually kids have just gone, the dogs been out so not seeing point of staying up

Kids were asleep for 8pm. I’m on my 3rd glass of wine, DH is snoring on the other sofa. I’m re-watching desperate housewives from the beginning. Will probably go to bed soon.

Night in, DS 1 went asleep about an hour ago. I've had a bath and me and DH have face masks on (he loves a good pamper) and we've had a takeaway and I'm going to tuck into chocolate trifle later. Bliss.

Sewing Bee, wine, mini sausage rolls.

Watching a film having snacky food. Been up since 6am so won't stay up until midnight though.

I meant to take a shower and try to look nice but I'll do it tomorrow morning

So drinking tea and snacking on dark chocolate almonds til it's 11.45pm and I'll go downstairs and be sociable and see the new year in!

Played a card game with DP for a couple of hours, had some drinks, pizzas in oven now, will watch queens gambit whilst eating

Wine, pizza and Drag Race.

I did put Pretty Little Things on, but got bored, so put DR on instead.
DH is doing shots of whiskey with his bf on zoom while playing an online card game.
Ds was in bed and asleep by 8pm.

Dc are asleep after we had a long walk on the beach today and a pretend new year's countdown at 6pm. I have just ordered from lovehoney for the first time after seeing it on a mumsnet list in the news. 15% discount and sale too yay, dh seems bemused but supportive. We're watching the last leg atm, Alex Horne is quite attractive. I'm on the wine and chocolate, may fall asleep before midnight!

OP you need to watch desperate housewives! I'ts amazing!!! .... tonight i am on prosecco #3 and watching telly. Channel 1 or channel 3.... tough decisions.

Just did a "countdown" with dc. Dh is putting dc to bed, then we will tuck into drinks, snacks and watch the Crown. I am feeling very grateful for making it through 2020 with all our loved ones alive and well.

We’ve had a nice picky tea (sorry!) and a G&T, and watched Frozen - not the Elsa one, the one about three skiers getting stuck on a ski lift. It’s quite gruesome. At a bit of a loss now as I’d like to stay up til midnight - might have to find an online quiz or two to keep us occupied...

I'm just out the bath. Dd is in bed. We had a takeaway earlier.
DH has poured me a large brandy.
We will probably go to bed before the bells. I hate Hogmanay I find it really sad.

Crocheting a blue Among Us crewmate for dd1. The girls wanted to stay up til midnight & I'm a bit bored since they've vanished to Minecraft together 🤷‍♀️
