Do you have a vowel initial or a consonant?

Friend pointed out today that we are a fully vowel family, even the cat and hamster have vowel initials.

A, A, E, E and the pets are E and E.

We’re all constants. My DN is “Y” which seems to be very rare. My sister can never seem to find anything with that letter on.

I'm a vowel but dh, both dc and the cat are all consonants...

We all have different letters by design. Ie to avoid the issue of letters arriving to A. Smith etc in later years & not knowing who they were for.

We are E, K, J, T & P.

Our pets (not anticipated to receive much post) are H & F.

Son is an X, which is quite rare.

When I think about it, when I was growing up we had two bowels and two consonants too.

And I’m the only consonant.

I never noticed that before. Although it does vaguely bug me that only one of us (me, DH & 3 DCs) has an odd numbered birthday.

Almost all girls I know born in the last 5 years seem to be A and E. I wonder if that’s a new thing (a move away to vowel initials almost exclusively?) or has always been the same for women?

Ooooh I've never thought about it but now you say....

All consonants except for 1 C, S , H , K and E.

All consonants, humans K C L S M and pets G M C H G never noticed that before.

We're a mix but none of us have names with letters that go below the line. Except for my cat but he's allowed because he's perfect
