Friend pointed out today that we are a fully vowel family, even the cat and hamster have vowel initials.

A, A, E, E and the pets are E and E.

We are all the same consonant in our family, both my parents, my sibling and I and both my children all begin with J

CharitySchmarity · 27/12/2020 21:14

Consonant, and the short form begins with a different consonant. Both DSs are consonants, DH is the only vowel. No repeated initials in the family.

mamaduckbone · 27/12/2020 22:16

Only one vowel among all middle names as well

VetOnCall · 28/12/2020 01:26

@OhCormoranAllYeFaithful

One vowel. Three consonants.

Son is an X, which is quite rare.

Elon, is that you?

Just kidding Grin

Longdistance · 28/12/2020 01:41

Our initials spell CAKE. It’s outing as people remember dds names when they remember our initials spell cake.

Californiabakes · 28/12/2020 01:44

All consonants here

PawPawNoodle · 28/12/2020 05:26

All consonants, can't think of anyone with a vowel name on either side of my family. The only vowel on Mr Noodle's side is his mum and even then she goes by her middle name rather than her first, consonant name.

Had never even thought about it before now..!

poppingpotatoes · 28/12/2020 05:56

We are all consonant-vowel-vowel.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 28/12/2020 06:00

A consonants here. Including middle and last names. And the pets.

poppingpotatoes · 28/12/2020 06:15

@RosieLemonade

We’re all constants. My DN is “Y” which seems to be very rare. My sister can never seem to find anything with that letter on.
Y is effectively a vowel, it certainly is in Welsh.
Eminybob · 28/12/2020 07:38

DS2 and I are vowels, DH and DS1 are consonants.

What I did realise the other day was we all have a different number of syllables in our names, increasing as age decreases. So DH has 1, I have 2, DS1 has 3 and DS2 has 4.
