DH says I'm a pervert

I was making myself a (fake) bacon sandwich for Boxing Day breakfast, and realised we had insufficient white bread for my sandwich. I therefore made it a half and half sandwich - half white, half brown. DH is calling it the abomination sandwich and accused me of perversion.

I don't care, it's delicious. Fight me

It's the different sized slices that makes my twitchy...bread overhang.

My stomach cares not for such detail!

You've got sauce on it - total abomination. The bread wouldn't bother me though.

You could have cut the bread in half and made one white bread sandwich and one brown bed with the right sized bread?

I'm more concerned by the fake bacon and lack of toasting to the bread

Just to be clear, this was not a particularly serious post and my DH did not call me a pervert not in relation to sandwiches anyway

How is it OP? I really fancy trying it but I've never seen it in the shops. I do sliced tofu reeeeally thin and marinated in soy sauce, smoked paprika and maple syrup and air fried...nom.

The smell is pretty good and the texture is about right in a sandwich. Not sure it would stand up to scrutiny on its own but I'm content with the sandwich situation!

Not going to argue the fake bacon vs real bacon point as that's been done to death on the deliberately provocative one-post-Op thread

I did briefly consider toasting the bread, I have to say... Decided against it in the end as I enjoy the crispy/squishy texture diad.
