I am but hey I am going to have a good day! Tier 4 here and live alone.

I have done a run and taken dog for a short walk and just had some porridge.

I shall have a leisurely bath & then a lovely long dog walk in the sun at lunchtime.

I have an M&S ready meal for my dinner which I am looking forward to with lots of veg and some lovely wine.

A good book on the go so might sit up in bed to read that and will finish the day with a stroll early evening with dog and some chocolates and TV.

Happy Christmas to you all

@earthwanderer Oh, he sounds disgusting - and I bet he'll be surprised when he finds the note on the kitchen table saying you've gone.
Good luck digging the escape tunnel. FWIW I've had a lovely day on my own and so will you, next year.

I woke up a half hour ago and was instantly awake. So am sat here with a mug of tea feeling pretty sad, yet knowing I have to leave as things just can't go on as they are, it's not good for either of us.

Thanks to everyone for your messages, but my apologies to @PilatesPeach for sort of jumping in on your thread - it just sort of all came out.

@EarthWonderer

you must post here it is not my thread you need support. I was with a horrid man last year and now am alone with my dog and the peace is great - was lonely in lockdown but was lonely when I was him and he merely tolerated me if I was lucky, the rest of the time he was horrid to both me and my dog.

Rent that house and find yourself again. You have to let the old go to make space for the new. Also even just 10 minutes of yoga a day helps clear your head and find some peace. Flowers

Thank you madroid and witches I got my positive on Christmas Eve, so come out of isolation on the 2nd Jan. the irony is, I work in hospitality, and due to the restrictions, it’s my first Christmas and new year off in years 🤦🏻‍♀️ Never mind, it’s not so bad, I still hear the children having fun, I can hide how rotten I’m feeling from the older two and dc3 (6) is now also in with me as he had a positive on Christmas Day Sad

I hope everybody is staying safe ❤️

PilatesPeach · 27/12/2020 09:59

@daisydairymple sorry to hear that how ironic! hope you will soon feel well again Flowers
