Please recommend me a thrilling and absorbing Netflix series?

I've seen the usual ones - Money Heist etc. Looking for something that is instantly absorbing and keeps me glued.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I liked that too, it's quite quirky, different, but once I got into it I was so absorbed and felt sad when I had seen every episode.

I love a history type series. Just finished The Barbarians. Loved it. Also watched The Centurian wih Michael Fassbender, also good.

Any other good history stuff ppl have seen. I've watched a lot of WW2 stuff.

DNA (Scandi - gripping, very, very good)
Trapped (Icelandic, excellent)
Greyzone (Swedish-Danish - excellent)
Safe
Quicksand (Swedish - brilliant)
Into the Night/To the Lake (virus)

Obviously the Killing (Danish) and The Bridge if not already seen them.

Spiral on iPlayer is a French pi e drama which is comparable to the Scandi ones. Great characters and gripping plots.

Salvation, the rain, both favourites of mine, on netflix

Bates Motel - it's like a prequel to Psycho and is very gripping!

How To Get Away With Murder is fab too.

Just binge watched the first season of Top of the Lake. It's good.

Prison break! Wasn’t something I thought I’d enjoy but I loved it

Surprised no one mentioned Santa Clarita diet...fabulous

The Harlen Corben ones very good apart from the woods which was ok
Loved the handmaids tale on prime
Struggling a bit to be honest ourselves

Snowpiercer I just don't want to stop watching it!
