Please.

I've seen the usual ones - Money Heist etc. Looking for something that is instantly absorbing and keeps me glued.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Another vote for Giri Haji. Brilliant. Apart from one scene quite near the end which was...weird.

Hugbear · 22/12/2020 21:10

Ratched is absolutely brilliant and on Netflix. Can't wait for Season 2!

LuciaLemon · 22/12/2020 21:42

Ok so tried the first episode of queens gambit. It was ... ok. But it wasn't thrilling and it didn't particularly grab me so that one is off the list

I shall choose another for tomorrow Grin

@Panicmode1

Mindhunter was brilliant.....I'm not convinced by The Queens Gambit. Have watched 4 eps and feel its all a bit style over substance...
Oooh yes Mindhunter was very good.
Bluntness100 · 22/12/2020 22:21

I’d give the queens gambit another episode, it’s excellent but it builds.

I’ve just finished the sixth season of how to get away with murder and it had me in tears, brilliant series.

I waded through the first two of Queens Gambit then it hooked me. Worth another hour?

Prison Break if you haven’t seen it already!!

Call my Agent is brilliant.
Don’t be put off by the subtitles - it’s French - one of the most addictive series I’ve watched in ages

peachpearplum01 · 22/12/2020 23:02

Dirty John is good - based on true stories
Also liked Bloodline

IfeellikeaJoan · 22/12/2020 23:08

Peaky blinders?

WhereYouLeftIt · 22/12/2020 23:11

I loved Criminal. Very intense, takes place in a police interview room and the police room on the other side of the two-way mirror.

And it's international! There's two series in England and one each in France, Germany and Spain. I loved them all.
