I've seen the usual ones - Money Heist etc. Looking for something that is instantly absorbing and keeps me glued.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I loved Into the Night too. And am enjoying a Russian series called To the Lake. They are both virusey though 🤔. I'm loving anything at the moment that has different accents, faces, places, that are set anywhere but my own country, lovely as it is. It matters not if the shit is hitting the fan!

Ratched. Weird but absorbing.

Just finished The English Game which is short but enjoyable, also enjoyed; Queen of the South, Alias Grace, Designated Survivor, Queen's GAMBIT, Criminal:UK, Mindhunter.

Dark.

'Gypsy' was excellent. I binge watched it.

Thrilling.... hmmmm. You is good but you need to watch a few episodes to get into it.

Queens Gambit is great but not thrilling.

Russian doll is amazing and thrilling!

I really loved virgin river but it's shlocky nonsense that you need to wade through ridiculous set up but I quite liked it once it got going. It's romance / soap. Brain firmly in neutral.

Good girls is probably worth it. Like Breaking bad but with women.

Not thrilling but absorbing: the marvellous Mrs maisel on prime.

Liked the OA but not thrilling, just wierd.

Loved Dark but ditto, and subtitled.

Ooh there is a really good show that is thrilling and absorbing and fucking hilarious. But its on prime, sorry. It's called the Boys. It's quite gory. And about superheroes. I hate superheroes but not this.

The Stranger - watched them all in 3 days and I'm usually more of a 'one or two episodes a week' kind of viewer!

I agree with you about The Queens Gambit Panic. I don't find any one in it very interesting, including the main character. Also I don't get the thing with the drugs she was taking - was it those that made her a Chess genius, or what? That bit of the story just seems to have fizzled out.

Mindhunters is superb though. My only criticism of it is that all of the characters seem to sound like the same person talking. Great performances throughout though.

I liked Unorthodox very much. So much so that I started watching Schtisel [I think that's the spelling]. The main character appears in this too. It's set in Jerusalem Israel among the Orthodox Jewish community. Very engaging. Well worth a watch.
