I started a thread with the same title in the summer as I was struggling to get motivated. If you'd like to add your little achievements, please do!

Today I have

Cleaned the bathroom
Had a bath
Nagged the DCs to have a bath until they finally gave in.

OP posts:
JontyDoggle37 · 20/12/2020 18:16

Watched a film on the sofa with DS, two of us just cuddled up.
Got 90% of the present wrapping done 💪
3 loads of washing
Cleaned the kitchen
Mucked out, turned out and brought in again my horse
Took dogs, child and reluctant husband to the woods to do the Christmas trail by torchlight. DS and I had great fine, DH grumbled his way round (poor dear is tired out from doing some chores earlier 🙄)

Scarby9 · 20/12/2020 18:18

Rediscovered the floor in the living room and hoovered it!

Giggorata · 20/12/2020 18:26

Cleaned the parlour, ready for our virtual visitors tonight.
Cut some holly and greenery for the mantelpiece
Located some led lights for same.

dudsville · 20/12/2020 18:28

After sitting for an evening with the news of the cancelled plans I started today using the holiday food. We will be eating so well for at least a week!

OhToBeASeahorse · 20/12/2020 18:28

I managed my first bath since DD was born - she is 10 weeks

AcornAutumn · 20/12/2020 18:31

Keyboard practice
Bit of pastel artwork - bloody awful but at least I did it

Just gearing up to do a workout before dinner...

ToffeeNotCoffee · 20/12/2020 18:32

Ordered my husband's Christmas present and paid the delivery charge for it to be delivered tomorrow. He's WFH so he will be here. He won't open it until I've wrapped it and presented it to him on Christmas Day.

Done a practice run to two new work venues.

Put my model nativity scene up.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 20/12/2020 18:34

Had a bath
Washed hair
Took Covid test and sent it off
Wrote a Christmas quiz for family zoom call
Got a refund from amazon for a present that never arrived
Topped up my gas and electricity
Did a load of laundry

Feel absolutely exhausted now, got a cough and a sore throat. Just praying for a negative result.

Timeforatincture · 20/12/2020 18:34

Shaved my legs - like hacking through virgin forest

Cleaned the fridge and tossed out all the dubious looking jars that have been lurking at the back for too long.

Picked holly in the woods.

KingscoteStaff · 20/12/2020 18:35

Tree bought, up and decorated.

Mum visited and her tree bought, up and decorated. (She is in our bubble before anyone starts...)

sleepyhead · 20/12/2020 18:37

I cleaned under ds2's bed

theresagiantonthebeach · 20/12/2020 18:38

Did an exercise dvd
made pancakes for breakfast
started reading a new book.last one for my goodreads challenge
got DD 11 out for a walk
made dinner
put a washing load on to come on overnight

sleepyhead · 20/12/2020 18:39

Im now rocking gently in a corner trying not to think of what I found there.

(Mouldy apple cores mostly, but grim)

spaceghetto · 20/12/2020 18:41

Cleaned my back door!

longhaulstress · 20/12/2020 19:10

Managed to clean and tidy my bedroom including dusting and mopping. It needed doing desperately.
Done two loads of washing, cried and put away (got my 3rd in but that will end up needing re-washing in the morning. I need to accept 2 loads are my max a day).
Took dc2 for a walk in the sunshine.
Got my 10k steps.
Changed batteries in some Christmas decorations I've been meaning to for 5 days.
Re-booked dc3 on to her dance lessons for next year.
All in all not a bad Sunday.

SilverOtter · 20/12/2020 19:22

Got the kids out for a dog walk, coaxed my eldest through his online piano lesson and then we baked some gingerbread men and decorated them with smartiesSmile

Bluewavescrashing · 21/12/2020 10:27

After very little sleep last night (anxiety) I got up, nagged the DCs to clean out their revolting bedrooms and cleaned the ensuite. I also sorted a milk spillage in the fridge 😷🤢

Resting for a bit now after showering in my clean shower, then I'll hoover the rest of upstairs and change some beds.

OP posts:
Aroundtheworldin80moves · 21/12/2020 10:38

I've showered, made eggy bread for everyone, cancelled swimming lessons as we move soon, and a got a wash on.

Bonkerz · 21/12/2020 10:45

Well yesterday I achieved and survived playing monopoly with the kids and then I achieved my first ever open bone fracture and a trip to hospital! At 42 I've finally broke a bone and did a very good job of it!

JustLikeStitch · 21/12/2020 10:53

I got out of bed. Might have cried for 4 hrs on the sofa afterwards but I still got out of bed, and for me today that was harder than anything else I have faced this year. I made coffee too, but I don’t count that as an achievement!

TheYearOfSmallThings · 21/12/2020 10:57

I achieved my first ever open bone fracture and a trip to hospital!

Well.... congratulations! At least it's a new experience, and will serve as a distraction from all the apocalyptic stuff that's ongoing!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/12/2020 11:04

Stitch - sorry you're feeling so low.

My biggest achievement thus far is that I slept for almost 12 hours.

This morning I've helped put away a Sainsbury's order and have wrapped some presents. That's it so far.

It's chucking down and we have no plans for the day, although Sainsbury's didn't deliver the Christmas pudding, so I'll have to track one down at some point in the next few days, as well as buying the fresh bread, vege, cream etc.

Not sure what to do with the rest of the day. Going to start by finding something to eat for a late breakfast.

needtowalkmore · 21/12/2020 11:15

What a lovely thread! Let’s keep celebrating the small things and focus on what we HAVE achieved. Any achievement is a huge deal at the moment so let’s keep being kind to ourselves.

insancerre · 21/12/2020 11:19

I’m at work
This morning I have completed a form for a child with additional needs and made cottage pie for 5 babies
I’m now having a brew and staring at the cupcakes from a colleague
I will shortly give in and eat one

Scarby9 · 21/12/2020 13:07

Washed the kitchen floor. I am too ashamed to work out how long it is since I last did it. Not having anyone in the house since March has exposed that my main motivation for any housework is embarrassment at being viewed as slovenly.
