My most bought item was a litre of Yeo Valley semi skimmed milk.

That doesn’t exactly shout “living your best life” does it. Hats off to the chugger of the Oyster Bay. Smile

I cancelled my SmartPass this week. I had my last delivery with them last week, having had a SmartPass for eight years (it was our anniversary two weeks ago, I got a voucher).

They were awful during Covid lockdown one.
I wasn’t able to get a Christmas slot
The edit time was Wednesday for a Friday evening delivery.
I could only reserve a slot 7 days in advance now.
So much stuff out of stock. All the time.
Prices creeping up.
Just not liking M&S as much as Waitrose.
Smart Pass went up to £9.99 while my Mum down the road who spends less has a far cheaper one at £3.99 (she claims)
Fresh stuff increasingly on the wire with sell by date

Was time to part company. I had a Sainsbury’s one which I was impressed with and my one this week is Waitrose. I might just alternate between these for a while.

Mine is Oreo cookies
I buy them when they’re on offer for my grandson to take as his mid morning break snack at school. He takes 2 at a time
Hard to believe that out of everything I have bought they’re the most purchased item

dontcallmelen · 15/12/2020 18:52

Mine was butter as well, they want £54.99 for renewal of my smart pass I’m another one who didn’t get a sniff at anything during lockdown, since September only been able to get a delivery quite late on a Saturday or Sunday had my last delivery on the 12th December nothing available for the rest of the month, really not sure it’s worth renewing anymore Yy the edit time is annoying as well now.

I'm so fuucked off with Ocado I have even opened my personalised video - WTAF?! It cannot make up for the steady decline in service that began way before covid. I couldn't get delivers during lockdown even though I pay top whack for a smart pass, I didn't get a Christmas delivery slot, they sent out a voucher as recompense that didn't work. The things I like to order are always out of stock with very expensive alternatives. Their packing in plastic bags is beyond planet destroying (1 item often in a bag). On top of that you can't update your order the day before delivery it's bollocks. My New Years ressie is to give them the heave ho. Much prefer Sainsbury's at the moment. They should sort their stock and deliveries out rather than faffing about with stupid videos which just reinforce what a boring and shit time we're all having if the best we can look forward to is finding out what we've bought most of at the supermarket. Twats.

This might be the nail in the coffin for
My relationship with Ocado!

Its chief executive, Tim Steiner, was paid £58.7m last year – which works out at 2,605 times the £22,500 paid to the online grocery delivery company’s staff on average. It means Steiner was paid as much as the average Ocado worker’s annual salary for just one day’s work.
