The Sussexes had a ton of work done and left, now apparently Eugenie and her husband have been in our six weeks and gone back from where they came.

Something sinister lurking do you think? Whose ghostly remains are bitter at the house being renovated??

Either they were never intending to stay permanently and have now had their break and left or they were told to leave because they weren’t supposed to have the keys in the first place.

It was reported at the time that neither the Queen nor any of the Senior royals were aware that H&M had “given” Frog Cott to E&J.

H&M didn’t own FC or have the right to give it to anyone. It’s a bit hard to believe that both Harry and Eugenie (being born and raised Royal) were so silly as to think they could just privately pass a Crown Estates property between them, but who knows?

I have also heard this. That a lot of Duchy money from Prince Charles put in to it as well and was not aware of the "transfer" and was not best pleased. Seems like it was just messy. Although I walk by Frogmore everyday on dog walk and there have been absolutely no signs of life at all. @AcornAutumn @BalloonSlayer It is behind a high metal fence and has a cornfield in between it and the Long Walk-so it can be seen from a distance but members of the public cannot walk by as it is in the grounds of Windsor Castle. I have gone on the Frogmore tour a couple of times and you really can't get that close to their Cottage-it's Frogmore House and grounds and mausoleum etc that you can see.

It was temporary while their house was being renovated and decorated. They have to move because there would be a high risk of someone bringing in this little bug going around, you may have heard of it?

I've specifically said I'm suspicious of any rumour aimed at slagging off H&M without proof.

Archie was born in the Portland, if it was close enough for Meghan I’m sure it’s close enough for Eugenie

I thought that was as an emergency transfer following a home birth? Though it was hard to tell, given all the smoke and mirrors.

According to a few of the newspapers it might be because Harry and Megan are coming back.

Archie's birth certificate said the Portland. It's what's said in the Finding Freedom book too. They decided against a home birth.

I personally don't believe the Queen was 'blindsided' by this arrangement. Even if you think Harry and Meghan might have suggested it of their own volition - which is plausible though not proven - would Eugenie have said yes without first checking with Gran, given everything that's gone on? I don't think so.

My ghost theory is the most likely, followed by it only ever being short term for the renovations.

...the cottage does sit very close to the Royal Mausoleum, which houses the bodies of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Another small chapel on the grounds houses the remains of around 10 kings dating back to 1492 as well as the bodies several other royals including Princess Margaret.
Who would you rather breakfast with? Queen Vic or 🤴 Margaret

If Princess Margaret is haunting Frogmore Cottage, that would explain a lot. Furious messages smeared in lipstick on steamed up bathroom mirrors, accusatory tiaras left on bedposts, smouldering fag ends in the guest bedroom, etc, etc.

It will be interesting to see what happens re Eugenie & Jack and housing generally. Not to mention career trajectories.

Her Mum & Dad are in deep financial do-do (again), her big sister married the multi-millionaire property developer, she married a salesman.

Fergie & Andy are desperate to make sure the girls are set up well, with no funds to significantly help. Neither Bea or Euge seem likely to make their own millions.

I bet there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.
