Which is the least offensive lynx spray?

Adolescent son has asked for a lynx spray from Xmas. (He’s easily pleased )

Which one will I least object to pervading my entire home of a morning?

My son, aged 12, likes the smell of Collision and Dark Temptation.

They are smelly but not too bad
(Leave windows open for ten minutes after spraying)

My son has used it for years... I had to ban it at one stage
I bought the ice chill one recently it's not too bad!

I have two young sons and I dread the day they ask fit it. Awful stuff. My husband would have it back in the house in a heartbeat!!

I think the most popular one is Lynx Africa, I quite like the smell of it tbf

I don't know the name but the goldy one that's supposed to smell of oud isn't too bad. Certainly a lot better than Lynx Africa!!My brother used to fumigate the house with that on a daily basis

Omg my almost 40 yo dh still uses it. I keep binning it and replacing it with grown up stuff but still the assault on my nostrils continues

I can't remember the names of them all but generally light crisp coloured cans eg. white/blue have a similar scent whereas the more exotic colour schemes with black/gold will have sweeter stickier scents.

There isn't one, they are all revolting. Scent markings of a certain type of individual. Pity the youngsters who fall for the marketing crap.

Lynx Africa is quite nice so long as they don't actually bath in it. Less is more sometimes! The gold coloured one with the vanilla n smells like old ladies...

I have banned DS from spraying it in his room - the rule is supposed to be bathroom only and then with an open window.

One of his finest moments last year was when he decided to spray his maths homework on his bedroom wall as he was sure it would dry off. It didn't..........................

The thing is, as a deodorant, it doesn't do shit to hold back the tide of teenage body odour after about 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure that I had a deluded phase of using Lynx myself for a couple of months in my early teens, but (like most sensible males) I quickly moved onto proper antiperspirants which actually work as expected, for the whole day. No chance you could get him interested in Right Guard or Sure For Men? I guess that those lack kerb appeal for teenagers, however, so it might be an uphill struggle.

Thank you everyone! I know lynx is rubbish and toxic but this is a special request for Xmas and as they go it’s not an outlandish one so I’m prepared to indulge it. He does have Mitchum roll on that he wears every day. I suspect he’s been sniffing his mates and asked what they have doused themselves in.

I think that, at the time, I referred to it as weaponised fragrance.

It was when I couldn't smell by teenage sons Lynx back in October, that I knew I had corona virus!

Now there’s an idea for mass testing! Forget the throat swabs- just go to. Secondary school and tell us what you can smell.

The marmite one is absolutely minging (and I love marmite)

My favourite is excite (has purple on the can). I love the smell of it on my husband. Dark temptation and temptation are also nice.

I have a preteen DS and I'm hoping I can swerve Lynx (had enough of that as a teen ). What nice ones are out there? I might pop one in with the Xmas presents!
