No I'm not giving towards your GoFundMe page

I'm feeling annoyed after seeing someone's page. I can't give any more details here as it's outing, but let's just say I'm not going to be funding your self-indulgent lifestyle that you can't be bothered to fund yourself. It's insulting that you expect other people to contribute towards this non-essential, egotistical lifestyle indulgence.

Dds friends parent sent me a link to a Go Fund Me page for money to look after the dds pets. Why on earth would I pay for someone else's kids animals? Is that not a house expense.

I seem to live in the town that insurance forgot.
Every other week there's an online beg for a poor family who has lost everything due to fire/flood/theft/godzilla. There's always the disclaimer that "unfortunately they weren't insured"🙄

My husband's cousin is a CF. He's such a user, but somehow people put up with him (not me). He's lived in Spain for many years but is back here now as the money ran out. He's not happy as he wants to continue living the high life. His latest scheme is asking for family to buy into a château in France, that he would live in and run as a hotel. So we all club together to buy him a chateau to live in?

Last time I looked at one of those sites there was a couple asking people to fund their dream wedding. Haven't looked since!

I’ve not had go fund me requests but I had a friend who kept doing those charity holiday things to ‘raise awareness’.
He actually got away with doing it twice (China and Mexico) as he’s a nice guy and he did lots of fund raising activities. 3rd time everyone had enough and he could hardly raise a penny and lost his deposit. I think his many many holiday photos from the first 2 trips showed what it really was.
