Anyone with kids havent got their tree up yet?

Not us! We’re moving the week before Christmas .... could put it up, to take it down again... but I’ll make an extra effort when we’re in the new house. It’s just me and DS - who is a very forgiving child- so it hasn’t caused major family upset

Me. We never put it up early. It will be around the 15th.

Ours isn't up. Might do it next weekend.

I put the outdoor lights up about 10 days ago, but didn't want to rush into indoor decorations, and want to pace putting them up in the absence of any other pleasant Christmassy preparations.

We haven’t got one yet. Too soon and it’ll look shit before Christmas. No rush.

Mini fake one is up and real one will be bought next weekend. Outside lights and wreath are up. I'm not a fan of clutter so happy to wait a bit.

Lights on the house and nativity scene/other house decorations went up for the 1st though.

Us! we are having a real tree and I’m getting it on the 14th. All my colleagues have been sharing pics of their trees on what’s app this weekend - they think I’m being a grinch!

We don't.

I don't normally decorate until around the 11th but I'd like to do it earlier this year. Juggling my 3yr old and 2 week old is making it tricky though. Any chances I'm getting to actually do stuff aren't being used on getting up into the attic!

We don't usually put our decs up until the kids have broken up from school. Might do it next weekend as most people seem to have theirs up already. But it's 50/50 could be the weekend after.

Us. I usually follow 12 days of Christmas. But with work have to put it up the most convenient closest weekend.

Also seeing lots of real trees going up and can only assume they will come down soon after boxing day. You'd need a water stand to make them last. They go crispy.

We're doing it Thursday we would normally do it next weekend but we are hopefully going out to our local zoo as we are no longer in lockdown. Dd's would like us to have it up already but we always do it second weekend.

Not yet! New one coming today or tomorrow. My twins have no idea what Christmas is though (hopefully some of the work they’re doing at their specialist school in the next couple of weeks will help them have some idea) so I’m planning to deep clean tomorrow, then decorate Tuesday when they are at school and hope they like it / don’t chew too much of it (it’s sometimes like having two puppies with excellent climbing abilities).

Out door lights are up though.

Next weekend for us as well - that's the weekend we usually do it.
