@LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone

The IT Crowd, Father Ted, Black Books, Doc Martin, Frasier.
All of the above except Doc Martin. I would add Blackadder, The Royle Family and Red Dwarf into the list.

Mash, watched it many times, so many episodes...

Sarahlou63 · 04/12/2020 18:20

Ashes to Ashes, Fleabag, The Young Offenders (season 1 - 2 and 3 weren't as good), Killing Eve, Succession.

Supertree · 04/12/2020 18:25

The Inbetweeners, Alan Partridge, Shameless (but not the last few series), the Royle family and The Office. The only programmes I ever repeat watch.

The inbetweeners is really nostalgic and is so similar to my time at sixth form. We even drove around in the same car Grin Shameless and the Royle family also give me the same nostalgic feeling. The council estate in shameless looks very similar to the one I grew up on and reminds me of so many characters from my childhood. I find them hilarious but they also make me feel sort of safe and grounded. They remind me of my childhood and I think that’s a large part of their appeal for me.

MadCatLady71 · 04/12/2020 18:26

The things I watch over and over again are invariably shows I find comforting, as opposed to the type of ‘quality drama’ I might binge watch with DP. So:

Midsomer Murders
Miss Marple
Friends
Miranda

MissConductUS · 04/12/2020 18:27

Foyle's War, NCIS and Criminal Minds.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/12/2020 18:40

dinnerladies
Big Bang Theory
Still Game
Whitechapel
Inside No9
Line of Duty

SlightDrizzle · 04/12/2020 18:44

@devildeepbluesea

So many comedies, Gavin and Stacey, Blackadder, Nighty Night, Dinnerladies, Ab Fab....I'd be here all night.

Robin of Sherwood

Also love researching Spooks and Line of Duty

Every year I watch The Box of Delights - actually watching it right now!

I love Robin of Sherwood! It was a pure tragedy that Michael Praed took off to Broadway for a play that lasted about twenty performances, and left us briefly with Jason 'Baffled and Blonde' Connery and then nothing.

And it has wispy Clannad music, a very young Ray Winston being professionally angry, and the best blooper reels... Grin
