I cannot think of a single thing that I want or need at this moment in time. Please give me some inspiration!

I don't know but I'm hoping for a new trowel and an ice cream maker (unrelated, in case anyone thinks I'm going to eat the ice cream with the trowelGrin)

Simplyunacceptable · 04/12/2020 16:26

I got a new phone because my screen was totally smashed up and kept opening up random apps and typing things at whim. I already have the phone so I don’t expect anything else on the day.

BearSoFair · 04/12/2020 16:41

Hopefully a new dressing gown and Nadiya Bakes book

LadyofMisrule · 04/12/2020 16:41

Wine, a basket of veg seeds for planting, a new cast iron baking dish, hot water bottles, jigsaws, port, a heated throw and a hamper of spices and cooking ingredients.

Premiumtube · 04/12/2020 17:55

Nothing. Lots of nice fancy food and drink to enjoy. Going on holiday a few days after so might treat ourselves at the airport.

Quornflakegirl · 04/12/2020 18:02

Nothing, we don't do gifts for adults. I buy myself what I like at any time of the year 😁

Lazysundayafternoons · 04/12/2020 18:04

A robovac (ie the gift of allowing me to be more lazy in a cleaner house Grin)

A good pair of slippers

A 2021 diary

Camomila · 04/12/2020 18:10

A bundt tin and some frozen fruit powder (to make icing)

Nuie · 04/12/2020 18:10

A medical bag with lots of pockets.

Riapia · 04/12/2020 18:16

If you know what you’re getting then there’s no point in any of the preparations.

Sparklingbrook · 04/12/2020 18:18

I want a beaded skipping rope. I need to tell someone though or I'll be buying it myself.

Tangledtresses · 04/12/2020 18:19

I've asked for a le cruset frying pan with a glass lid 😂

a white co duvet set

And a dab radio

I really want an ice cream maker too but I think I'll wait for my summer birthday
iusedtohavechickens · 04/12/2020 18:22

I'm getting a new Apple Watch after my 19mth old microwaved my one!

Yecartmannew · 04/12/2020 18:24

I've asked for a bonsai tree or curling tongs.

No idea which I will get so it will still be a surprise.

The6thQueen · 04/12/2020 19:09

I don’t know, it’s a proper surprise gift from my whole family organised by DH. He’s never done anything like this before, the children are sworn to secrecy (they’ve never managed this previously Grin).

I genuinely have no clue and I’m so excited Xmas Smile

The6thQueen · 04/12/2020 19:10

Sorry that wasn’t helpful to your request OP!

Angel2702 · 04/12/2020 19:12

Nothing, we don’t have the budget to buy each other gifts anymore so only buy for the kids.

Karatema · 04/12/2020 19:36

A specialist iron for my hobby and a roller bag and handbag.

JMAngel1 · 04/12/2020 20:30

A fire tablet and hopefully a bottle of perfume or a new coat.

jacqelinedaniels · 04/12/2020 20:55

Some books, some chocolate and a Dry Robe (that I know of)

BrutusMcDogface · 04/12/2020 20:59

A couple of little surprises (chocolate and perfume etc)

With joint finances, I find it really odd to splash out on gifts for one another, but he does get me some lovely little things.

BrutusMcDogface · 04/12/2020 21:00

I do need a new coat but will probably just buy it myself in the sales!

Hkyvvse · 04/12/2020 21:02

I’ve got a Barbour trudie, I’m 44 and I’m giving up on shitty windbreakers for my dog walks this will be ace!

StCharlotte · 04/12/2020 21:02

Walking boots. The romantic fool!
