What films do you really enjoy that others think are shit?

Sucker punch

I love both of these films. I think they are very entertaining and I like how sucker punch literally sucker punches you at the end as it’s not an ending you would expect

La La Land. I love it. No one else I know does.

I like it too. It has moments of brilliance, like the scene where Mia re-encounters Sebastian in his eighties covers band at the ghastly pool party and requests ‘I Ran’ and mortifies him.

And I like the schmaltz of ‘The Fools Who Dream’, though I always want to point out that if you jumped barefoot into the Seine like the bohemian drinking aunt, you’re more likely to need a coffin than to survive to complain about the water temperature and spend ‘a month sneezing’.
