Many of our local shops are struggling with staying shut and as large chains do well online Id be nice if those small types could also gain some Christmas business - especially for those that have to stay shut on the run up to xmas

Ive been search this morning for independent places to shop online

anyone know of any good small independents that do online

Ive used a soap place in Clovelly

anyone got any recommendations for any type of gifts?

I like Iapetus, Shropshire Design and Rockett St George for home items.

Not fantastically sure how to do links, but there is a thread on the Christmas board with loads.

So far I've bought loads of toys from an independent toy shop (mulberry bush I think?), some proper beeswax candles and a tea towel. I'll be going back now I've been paid!!

I went to a local place today. Does food , house stuff etc. I over heard the cashiers saying it was nice to see cars in the car park.

I went specifically as they are independent and depends on shows , choirs little shops etc.

I spent what I could (they are fairly expensive). I then went and got some alcohol etc from another independent shop.

I’m doing what I can. But I don’t have unlimited money. But I’m trying.
